I went to this exact location this morning and all I wanted was one bean and cheese and one bean and chorizo. The man that I was speaking to that was placing my order told me they couldn’t separately put the chorizo on the beans it HAD to come with egg (When I’ve done it EVERY TIME I go to taco cabana). Breakfast tacos are about $1-1.69. Tell me why he charged me a WHOLE $1 for egg I didn’t even want OR GET !! I proceeded to pay at the window not knowing it was an extra charge for egg. So I got two tacos fo $4 uhmm didn’t sound right so I asked for a manager and she had a hard time explaining why I couldn’t do the chorizo alone and finally she says their truck hasn’t arrived ? Okay. I’ve worked in customer service myself for 5 years and I was a manager once too. You know you’re supposed to tell the customer that you’re out of something due to the truck AT THE SPEAKER NOT CHARGE THEM EXTRA FOR SOMETHING THEY DIDN’T EVEN GET! As the worker handed me my bag of tacos it only had two when the manager told me that she’d give me a free bean and cheese for the issues. I finally got the third taco after a worker gave me attitude handing it to me. Then I get to my school starving and start to eat and then that’s when I realized they WERE ALL BEAN AND CHEESE ! Read moreCame here today with a few friends. Upon entering, the restaurant smelled bad and felt dirty. We were 3rd in line but it took about 10 minutes for us to get to the front. I could tell the cashier was new, so I was understanding that she was a little slower. When we go to the front and I was ready to order, I ordered the bean & cheese combo, which comes with a small drink and chips & queso for about $5.50. The customer rang each item up separately instead of as a combo and the total was around $8. Again, I was understanding because she was new, but I told her that it all comes together, and it might be a non-menu item. She pretty much ignored me and insisted why she did was correct. I was persistent, because I wasn’t paying more than I had to. She got another worker to come help, who looked at the screen and said, “No, you got it right.” Then the cashier said rudely, “I know I did, she told me I got it wrong.”Which was really uncalled for. The other employee finally understood what I meant and rang me up for the correct menu item and the total was $5.51. After all that mess, it took maybe 15 minutes for our food to get here, when it was just simple tacos. I had the food scheduled to arrive 30 minutes before the event started since my delivery was for the morning and I wanted food to be ready before attendees arrived. There was nowhere to contact the delivery person and the restaurant had no idea about the delivery when I called in, 20 minutes after my scheduled delivery time, I received a text notification stating that my delivery was delayed and expected to be received in 20 minutes... my presentation started and almost finished before I actually received my food.i called the restaurant once the event was over to discuss what had happened. They said they would call me back, but I never heard back, I called again a few days later and was advised that they have nothing to do with their delivery service but that they would escalate to management and call me back. A week later I hadn’t heard anything back so I filed a complaint online. I had a gentleman who described himself as the area manager call and apologize for the situation, he stated I would be reimbursed for the order and that he would call me back to confirm once that was done.
