TLDR: sub-par product with high prices

For the food: I had the OG cheeseburger with jalapeños added. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. It’s vegan, so I went into knowing it wouldn’t have the same texture or flavor as beef, and that’s fine. But frankly the patty was one of the best parts. The veggies were all very meh. A vegan burger is something that really lets you flex the other parts of the burger, and this one really didn’t. Also, I feel like drowning it in a sauce really didn’t help the whole situation. The fries on the other hand were extremely hot (in a good way) and crispy, so no complaints there.

On the service, it’s a trailer, so not exactly a lot of service to go around (not good, not bad, just how it is). One thing I would have liked would have been a water cooler and some paper cups, because it’s like 95+ outside, and I don’t want to spend an extra $2 on a water for an already pretty pricey meal.

I’ve been trying to accumulate a list of good vegan places in Austin, and unfortunately this place just doesn’t...

I heard a lot of positive reviews & I love supporting new vegan spots in Austin. I called at 6:15 to place a pick up order, guy said it’d be ready at 7. Showed up around 7 and waited in line for about ten minutes. Once I got to the window and said my name the employee struggled to locate the correct order. I am not certain, but by the looks of it the order had not been started or was way behind. They asked me to wait and I did, as it was obvious they were very busy. I finally got my order around 7:30 and after checking, items were missing. I went back and told staff and they handed me a bag with all but one of the missing items (ranch). I was in a hurry and could not wait again so I left. The burger was pretty decent, fries weren’t great, but I liked the tots. Wings were good, but not at all buffalo flavor. It was a little pricey, but I’m sure if things had been smooth and all my items were received I wouldn’t have cared. TLDR; decent food, bad customer service. It’s new so I’m hoping they...

Updated to owner response : I’m confused as to why you would want to argue on social media with a customer. I’m not a person to complain about food because I get it unless it’s a wildly bad experience, which this was. It’s not like we were hard to please we just wanted to leave with the food we ordered? We were the only people there and it still took an hour. The person was rude to me on the phone 100% maybe it was just awkward first day stuff but it came across as rude. When we got home and ate it, was STILL wrong and not good at all. Literally the first time I walked away from the stand they had forgotten half my order. Kept taking off mask to talk to me, touching food without gloves, etc. Impossible burgers are delicious, but this one was not. The buffalo wings were not buffalo flavored and had no sauce. We will never be back. Im honestly SHOCKED to see the owner was present while we were there because we were both sitting at the table saying we would never be back because of the...

didn’t snap a photo of the sandwiches or fried pickles - but this literally hit the spot we didn’t realize we needed! i’ve been vegetarian for nearly 3 years and i had yet to experience a non-cauliflower buffalo wing and nom burgers did not disappoint! the wings were spicy, chewy, and downright delish! we also ordered the brisket sandwich and new breakfast sandwich which were both so damn good! my partner was so happy to eat the breakfast sandwich because they can’t have egg or cheese. thank you nom burgers for such an amazing late night meal :) we’ll definitely be back!
