Possum Pizza — Restaurant in Austin

Possum Pizza is a food truck located in a vegan food park, it has lots of options for outdoor seating, some shaded and some not. It's perfect for a sunny weekend, has some outdoor games and murals. My partner and I got the pup pizza, possum poppers, cheesy garlic bread, and marinara, ranch, and buffalo ranch. Our favorite dish was the possum poppers with ranch, I could eat those everyday!! The staff was friendly and the food was fresh. I am not a vegan, my partner is, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The cheese was too "gummy" for me on the pizza, but that's expected as I'm not vegan. I enjoyed the cheezy bread, it had a nice crunch and mixture of vegan cheeses without being overly chewy. The wait was a bit longer than expected for a food truck, but I understand it's because it's made fresh. I would love to go back and try more of their dishes! I am so so SO glad my wife and I stumbled onto Possum Pizza, hands down my favorite pizza joint! I cannot wait to go back!

We got: -Large pizza with pepperoni's and half jalapenos, spicey & delicious! -Motz sticks! Yummy! &! -Fried wings, with buffalo sauce on the side. (The best dank fried wings I've had!)

I struggled to remember to share! Whoops.

For real, though.. for two people, this was our early dinner and midnight snack; the food went a long way.

Lots of points for creativity of the menu. Being vegan you typically get used to only have one option, so when you have options it’s hard to choose! The pizza was okay. The crust was very floppy. I reheated it in a pan at home to make it crispier which helped a lot. Vegan cheese is difficult to get right and that’s where it falls for me. The follow your heart cheese is kinda gummie and get stuck to your teeth. I’m impartial and have been spoiled by the cheese that Lil Nonna’s uses.
