Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail — Attraction in Austin

Dear tourists! Every single day, I see lost tourists wandering around the spot where Google has set this pin, trying to find the boardwalk, and trying to see some big vista of downtown. There is a 10 mile loop of trail and parkland around the Lake. All of it is lovely. The pin Google dropped means nothing. Austin gets it right when it comes to biking and preserving nature. I couldn't even suggest an improvement to this. You get shady woods, trees old and young, serene waterways, flowers and city views. I can't even do it justice plus its a pedestrian artery to almost everything cool in the city. Catch bats on Congress, drinks on Rainey, food anywhere along the route. Fairly flat trail for running, biking, going on dates, contemplating life while staring at the water, writing dark poetry about that guy that ghosted you after 4 months, you name it, you can do it here.
