Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Austin

Just wanted to give an updated review because this place has improved tremendously. The workers have great customer service & the cooks do a great job making the food. I ordered pizza, breadsticks & wings today & everything was yummy. The new manager here is doing a great job, keep it up.

Old review: this location is just inconsistent. I ordered pepperoni hand tossed pizza and the crust was extremely thin and way too crispy, the cheese looked over cooked. Look honestly if you’re looking for a decent pizza chain place in the area just hit up dominos on Cameron, it’s right down the road.

Previous Review: ordered here again 6/11/19 and the pizza/wings were actually good. The food was delivered ahead of schedule and the delivery guy was nice. The only issue I had was no one answered the phone, I had to order it online. I’ll be ordering here again soon and hope the service/food will be just as good again.

Previous review: Um.. I order from this place a ton, idk what happened last night but my pizza was really weird. Random chunks of bread missing and random slices of pineapple. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños.. It kind of looked like they accidentally cooked it with pineapples and took them off at the end... it honestly looked like it was dropped too I'm hoping it wasn't.. I was given store credit, I appreciate that but this was just a weird experience. I added photos of the gross pizza, idk how they could expect me to eat that. Not ordering here for a while now..

I preordered my pizza at 4:56pm for 7:30 pm same day delivery. When the food arrived no one knocked on my door or anything it looked like the box was DROPPED on my porch. The pizza was overproofed, not done correctly there was more bread showing than ingredients so I called instantly to ask to remake my order. I was placed on hold but I could hear the background no one ever went to go get someone for me to talk to nothing was done. At the 10 minute mark I was finally placed on the Music line for hold and I hung up at 10:27 minutes and called back several times with no answer or someone placing me on hold and not coming back to the phone. I called once more got the customer service line and i proceeded to make my complaint. Finally made it to the store and the cashier was trying to convince me that the pizza was fine and I had on tear the pizza apart for them to remake it. He offered me free drinks I declined. Black guy box hair messed up teeth. He was rude to the couple who came behind several people who came as I was speaking with the store. The woman took her infant and went to the care the husband stayed inside. Black guy even asked me not to make this review 7:45pm on July 28th but I refuse to be mistreated after a long day of work and taking...

Terrible attitude/service! Eventually, they made it good. Ordered a pizza to pick up by phone, and when I arrived 20 minutes later, I was told it wasn't ready, but I saw one sitting behind the counter. after waiting 5 minutes, I asked if that was my pizza. I was told NO, your pizza isn't ready yet by the same guy behind the counter. Several people come and go, picking up their pizzas, but mine "wasn't ready". 10 minutes later, my pizza still wasn't ready. That guy behind the counter left for a minute, and I asked the next person behind the counter if that was my pizza, the same one sitting for 15 minutes. They said it was mine. What was I waiting for? I told them that it was not right for me to have to wait so long for my pizza that was sitting right there. I was told it was not their fault. It was my problem. By the time I got it home, less than a mile away it was cold and soggy. Won't go back, can't recommend. Used to LOVE Pizza Hut! Update: Sent a message to corporate about my experience.
