This negative review is about the service. I have not been to this particular location in over six months because I always have a negative experience with the employees not fulfilling my order correctly. I decided to give it another try because it was on my way home, but my experience once again has me swearing off ordering from this Popeye’s location. I submitted an online custom order of an 10 piece family meal (subbed out the wings with extra breasts) and went through the drive-through for pick up. When I got to the window, I asked if they could double check that they actually followed the substitution requests that I paid extra for. The young girl who handed me my food, just looked at me and quickly said “It’s there.” I could maybe understand her curt attitude if there was a backed up line, but there was only one car behind me (and it wasn’t overly busy inside). So, I pulled into a parking spot to double check the order myself, and they had not made the substitutions that were requested and paid for. I went inside the store and the young man at the register seemed very confused and didn’t understand what I needed. I showed him my order receipt three times, and then he still came back with a box of two extra pieces of chicken that were not what I had ordered. He showed him that he brought me back a thigh and a leg instead of two breasts and he looked at me confused and asked me what I was missing. On this final attempt, I was finally able to get what I needed to complete my order. This seems to be an ongoing issue every time I stop at this particular location. I would say it’s because these employees are young and not paying attention, but it has also happened when I’ve been here and the staff are older. I also gave it one star for atmosphere because the floor was sticky and there were lots of condiment packets on the floor.
If you decide to order from this place, I would definitely not do so if you’re in a hurry and going through the drive-through. They will mess up your order. And I would still caution you to double check your order even when you come in and order from...
Read moreI wish I was able to select which location in the app I wanted my order from cause I sure wouldn't have wanted the airport location. My order was completely wrong did not receive half of it. I did not receive my cajun fries or mashed potatoes with gravy and it wasn't a 12pc spicy tenders it was just a ton of tenders. I proceeded to go to the location to try to get my order corrected. I drove up to the speaker waited a few mins and with no response drove to the window there was a guy at the register on his phone tried getting his attention then he went to the window register putting up the money til, saw me and gestured at me saying he was closed I then tried to still get his attention so that I could talk to him and nothing. I drove back through and saw a side door open that led to the kitchen, saw and gentlemen and asked him what time they closed he said 10pm (online it says 12am that's the only reason why I went by) I even tried calling I asked for a manager he yelled out his name (DANIEL) the gentlemen went inside to try to get Daniel he came back out and said that Daniel said he doesn't have time right now. Of course I was upset, if they didn't have enough food to complete my order or whatever the case was Daniel as the manager should of given me a call to let me know and refund me if I wanted! I'm not sure if they see customers number when it's an online order but if it did that's what Daniel should of did or told my delivery driver this is the issue so he could of got in touch with me! I've worked in fast food before so yes I know how it is and how frustrating being under staffed is but still doesn't make it right to not give me half of my order or ignore me at the window he could of at least cracked the window open and apologized that they're closed and proceeded from there! Read moreThis location is filthy and filled with shady managers The mgrs are a reflection of their employees and this location clearly shows a lack of leadership and customer service from what I’ve experienced. I ordered with a coupon my total should’ve been 4dollars and change instead I was charged a little under 12 dollars I wasn’t able to verify with a receipt because the person running the drive thru said there machine didn’t have paper,I asked to speak with a mgr and she tried to give me the remainder of what they took from my card in CHICKEN !! I obviously refused as she claimed she couldn’t do anything about a refund I left the drive thru window and spoke with corporate and was offered some coupons I felt belittled . I understand that they were trying to help but what I wanted was my money back I talked to the mgr shortly after (I assume corporate notified them) and was told to come in the next day which I did only to find out nobody knew why or what I was talking about I tried again the next day this makes it day 3 since the incident and finally was met with someone who was in charge that had to call someone else to verify what I was talking about then after about 27 min waiting outside it’s almost 6pm finally was met with the mgr on duty to receive 4 crumbled dollar bills and 3 dollars in change this is not in any way the WAY to treat customers I know it’s possible to refund it back to my bank card but they chose to make it this lengthy and painful in the process they chose, I am confident in knowing others also know that this location is plain TRASH!!
