We went through the drive thru and waited for about 30 minutes. Then after receiving our food discovered that our soft number eight was on the receipt as a hard number eight, and we had three hard shell tacos. The restaurant had just closed not that long before. I motioned to the staff to meet me at the door, since we weren't going to wait another 30 minutes to eat our food that we had waited on already for half an hour. And they had literally just closed. One man who appeared to be working the drive thru made a motion that was rather rude to not come meet me at the door. Then, a woman shrugged at me and motioned I go through the drive thru. When I pointed to the food, rather angry at the fact that the staff did not seem to care about our foods accuracy and asked her to come meet me at the door to talk about their errors on our order, rather the lady turns her back to me and proceeds chatting with her crew members rather than getting back to doing something productive. I have worked customer service before, and while I know you can't let people in, I know you can meet people at the door to NICELY let them know you are closed, instead of being rude and inconsiderate to a paying customer. Now, after this, we were left with three screwed up tacos and hungry stomachs. After having to wait 20 minutes in line and now having an empty drink due to having to wait for our food, even though we only had three people in front of us because we cut the line with our messed up food, we pointed out to the window guy that the tacos were hard and not soft, and the guy simply replied "okay?" We got no apology, and we had to ask to get our food remade since the worker didn't seem to see a problem with the fact that they screwed up our order. Then when getting our corrected food back, they didn't replace the sauce that was in the bag. This was one of the most inconsiderate customer service experiences I have ever seen, and I will be calling a manager to further explain how unacceptable of an experience this was, and that we will be going to a different taco bell location due to how many previous problems we have had with this one, until someone can learn how to hire employees that can earn their $10 an hour wage. Absolutely the WORST experience I've ever had at a Taco Bell. I placed a mobile order, expecting to grab my food quickly, but it took a whole TWO HOURS to be made. I arrived at the store on time, hungry, stressed about my exam tomorrow, and was met with nothing but complete disrespect. The manager, Sarah, gave me nothing but attitude the entire time. Not only did she rudely tell me to go to the drive-thru (even though I was already inside), but she couldn’t even explain why I couldn’t get my food directly.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, after waiting TWO HOURS, I found out that the staff had handed my food to someone else, forcing me to wait even longer for it to be remade. I hadn’t eaten all day and was looking forward to my meal, but it was ruined by incompetence and terrible customer service. Sarah was completely unhelpful, and it was clear that no one cared about the time or effort I had put into my order.
This was a complete nightmare, and I’m beyond angry. I’m exhausted, starving, and now my night is ruined....
