I have been here several times and while the food is decent the customer service is AWFUL. The man who runs the trailer has been consistently rude. The first time I visited he was screaming at his employee the whole time which is obviously awkward for all of us customers who are forced to watch as we wait for our food. The second time I went he was on the phone with someone and seemed annoyed when I came to pick up my food, as if I was interrupting him. Yesterday I went again and truly for the last time. I went to pick up food and he was chatting with his friend, speaking in their native language. I walked up to get my food and he ignored me at first and finally when he did acknowledge me looked at me and then said something to his friend (that I obviously didn't understand) and they both laughed. It was an uncomfortable situation. I am not spending my money there just to be...

The rice and meat are good but I’d skip on the fries and falafel. Fries were old and falafels were salty.
But the main reason for the 2 stars is the attitude. I understand he’s busy and he’s alone but that’s no reason to be nasty. Also their menu is wrong. Kinney are 3$ each on the left side menu but the right side menu says $3 2 pieces. You don’t know that til you get your order .I didn’t want to argue so I let it go. But an easy solution is taping a piece of paper on the wrong price.
I definitely don’t recommend this place. Thicket has better food or even the shady truck on oltorf and 1st. Nasty attitude there too but at least you get what...
Read moreI ordered a falafel sandwich and a side order of falafels and the food was fresh and flavorful. My gripe with this place is the unnecessary needling I had to endure while waiting for my order. Friendly banter is something one does with their friends, not customers whom you depend on for your revenue. Certainly not the type of banter that stereotypes an entire ethnic group.
I was asked as to why Indians order so many falafels (as if this were an inconvenience to them). It did not end there. The person behind the counter then proceeded to tell me he would have to rename his restaurant 'Falafilio' due to the enormous amount of falafels (again, people of Indian origin) order. Was this type of mild putdown really necessary?
Certainly not going back...
