My fiancé and I come to this subway 1-2 times a week. We never had problems, until today. To start, I asked for my turkey meat to be heated up by itself. It was a brand new girl, clearly still in training, and she asked her trainer/manager next to her how to do it. I totally understand, it’s an unusual request, but like I said, we have been here a LOT and they know me and I heat up just the meat every time we come. The trainer/manager directed the new girl to put it in the microwave. She said it in Spanish, and from my perspective, it was to hide what she was telling her. I have no problem with people speaking their native language in the workplace, unless it is to conceal something they should not be doing from, what they assume, non Spanish speakers. Little did she know, I can understand Spanish, being Hispanic myself. I pass as white. The new girl, was going to do as she was told and put the turkey in the microwave. My fiance and I stopped her and asked her to put it in the toaster. That way the meat won’t get rubbery. The trainer/manager looked annoyed at this request, snatched the meat from the new associate and put it in the toaster. From there, it felt the trainer/manager got very passage aggressive with me. For example, I asked for vinegar and Mayo to go on my sandwich and she barely put any on. I am a very passive person, and didn’t want to start and argument or make her more mad at me, so I didn’t say anything. My fiancé, asked the new girl for double meat and Italian and herbs bread. Once our order was complete and paid for, we sat down to eat and we realized that he didn’t get double meat and he got wheat bread, not Italian herbs and cheese. Totally fine, everyone messes up and has to learn somehow. He goes back to the counter and asks them to transfer everything on his sandwich to the correct bread. The trainer/manager said that she would just remake the sandwich. At the end, she charged for the double meat. Her reasoning was that he was never charged the first time for double meat, so she was going to do it now. She became very rude and raised her voice after my fiancé paid for the double meat charge, but questioned on why she did it when it wasn’t his mistake. He and I both have worked in the service industry, and I, as a manager, wouldn’t charge someone for a mistake that I or one of my team members made, let alone raise my voice and become defensive when a customer points this out. We are incredibly disappointed in this, and will never come back to...
Read moreIf I could give this 0 stars I would, I didn't want to write this review but since I haven't heard from Subway themselves in two weeks either here it goes. If you are hungry for subway go somewhere else. This place is ran by teens. 2 weeks ago I accidentally checked out too soon on the app. So I called the restaurant after my mistake. After the third time of trying to call I get a "hello?" I was a little confused so I asked "I'm sorry I was trying to reach Subway" he said "ya?" As if it is his personal line of use and I am bothering him. I told him I made a mistake and I need to cancel an order or ask if he can not make it until the next two hours. He smuggly replied "oh I already finished it" so I said "that was pretty fast I just submitted it Two minutes ago, but I needed fresh in two hours" he just repeated himself. "Ya is ready now" I repeated myself as well and told him I be there in two hours. When I went to pick up my order I asked for it fresh again he just said "ya is ready..is right here" I told him I needed fresh but he just said "I just gotta get the pizza it has to be fresh ". As if he didn't hear me the first 4 times I said it. I wasn't yelling or raising my voice I asked calmly perhaps that was the problem. Let me tell you Avocados after two hours just nasty I had to dig them out and I didn't finish it. My husband's meatball sandwich was also nasty and dry. I should've asked for my money back and gone somewhere else. It was red flags walking in already, two teens sitting outside smoking not sure what. But it wasn't a cigarette The teens where not in uniform they were wearing hoodies with thier pants half past there waist. The two teens outside came inside and just put gloves on and went to work. Didn't bother washing there hands. I will not...
