Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Austin

I wish I could give absolutely zero stars. I came around 1:00 to get some drinks and breakfast and corn dogs. I ordered a sausage croissant, without being asked if I wanted a substitution or anything, they come out with it just on a hamburger bun and say we discontinued the croissant, I asked if I could just have the Texas toaster instead, and they come out with some of the most burnt bread I have ever seen. Opening the bag you could already smell how burnt it was. I asked for a refund because I’m not going to attempt to eat burnt bread. The waitress comes out and tells me the manager told her to tell me that he made it through the toaster once so it’s not burnt. I told her to open the bag and look and that I wasn’t trying to be rude but it was most definitely burnt. And she looks and says oh yeah that is burnt and said she wouldn’t eat it either. The manager comes out in a speed walk with an angry demeanor and tries to tell me that’s how sonic makes them so it’s fine, I told him to look at the bread and he can see for himself that the bread is completely black and burnt and he goes “I made it” okay??? That doesn’t change the fact the bread is burnt. Rude rude manager. He was an older hispanic man with glasses. I should have gotten his name and I wish I had a picture to show y’all how burnt this bread was. I’m a sonic fan, religiously at sonic, but now I will not be returning due to this. Not to mention, the corn dogs were either stale or far too over cooked. I’m not sure, but the bread was hard and rubbery, bread should not be rubbery. Usually their corn dogs are my favorite. I just want a refund because this was the worst experience I have had with any...

I went there last week after work and it was the worst decision. I order drinks and a shake THATS it’s . Cars came and left after 20 minutes so I finally asked what was going on with my order and the car hopper in charge in my stand had the worst attitude. I also mentioned that I wasn’t sure if my payment went through because there was a horrible glare which seemed to annoy her even more. When I asked for the manager the lady screamed out “sissy they want to speak to you” while the manager was coming ANOTHER employee came out hollering, making smart remarks about my weight and when I told the manager she stated they were talking to someone else basically lying to my face since I was the only car out there. She then mentioned it was her sister. I’m not sure why they would schedule siblings together when obviously the manager has no control during her shift. Sadly I live 2 min from there and would rather drive 15 to another one. This location has gone downhill the last couple years I wouldn’t mind waiting if the service was good but long waits and bad service is what...

Have been Getting T here for several years-and on occasion the tea taste very old and we asked if we could have a fresh batch. Usually they'll say it's gonna take several minutes to make do you wanna wait and will say yes. On other occasionnes they've offered us a voucher corn to get a free drink later .Today I gave my very bad tasting tea back-to my car hop and asked him for fresh tea they could please brute and he went inside and came back out in 30 seconds and Handed Me in my tea and said here it is. I open the lid because it had only been 30 seconds and they had stuffed a lime and the Lemon in there to try to disguise the taste which still tasted bad only with lemon and lime . I got a refund and then ask to speak to the manager who then tells me they're making fresh tea and would I like to purchase another Tea. At this point I feel like she should have offered me a coin Belcher or a free T for all the trouble I just went there trying to get fresh tree and them going to all the trouble of trying...
