Wendy's — Restaurant in Austin

DON'T EAT HERE The owner/management could not care less about how this place is run. They were out of the cherry flavoring (okay whatever) but then I got the wrong sandwich (spicy instead of regular) and it was inedibly spicy. I tried to call for a refund of the sandwich and no one answers the phone and the voice-mail was full, so there isn't even an opportunity for them to right any problems. Now I have to go through corporate for something that should be an easy fix. Edit: took over an hour for me to get in touch with a customer representative at corporate only to be told I would get a call from the district manager to get me the refund on the phone. Instead I get a call from the manager of the location itself who can't give my card a refund over the phone but tells me I have to come by in person. We are in a pandemic in case anyone is forgetting. When I get there 10 minutes after that call, the manager isn't even there and the shift manager (I'm assuming) is wearing his mask under his nose (health hazard) and has to call the manager to approve a refund she JUST told me I could walk in and get. I went here this morning for breakfast partly because my go to Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays. I haven't been to this particular Wendy's in a while. Once I got my breakfast home, haven't gone through the drive-through, I remembered why. I ordered the breakfast croissant. First of all it came with bacon, I didn't want bacon I wanted sausage. The prices were lower outside the one I was actually charged. So they got false advertising on the pricing right there. When I open up my breakfast croissant, it had to be a half an inch of mayo or whatever the hell it was on this thing. Look like they slapped it on there and only got half the sandwich. I ate the half without the mayonnaise, and threw the other part away. $9.52 for breakfast is acceptable, only when the food is good. I will never ever go to this Wendy's again. I also ordered a medium coffee and the coffee felt a little light, so I opened up the lid and it was only about half full, so really they gave me a damn small coffee.Come on...

Mobile order on the app for curbside pick up since it was an option. Checked in, sat in parking lot for 20 minutes. No food. Call restaurant and said I checked in 20 minutes ago for curbside. Restaurant tells me, 'oh we don't deliver, you have to come inside or go through drive-thru'. Then why is curbside an option? My receipt even says CURBSIDE ORDER! STOP BEING LAZY! IT'S NO WONDER YOUR PARKING LOT AND DRIVE-THRU ARE EMPTY AT ALMOST 5 PM. YOU HAVE TERRIBLE BUSINESS ETIQUETTE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! MCDS AND CHICK-FIL-A ACROSS THE INTERSECTION FROM YOU ARE PACKED. To top it all off, when my call was finally answered after about the fifteenth ring, it was answered with a 'hello....', not a proper 'thank you for calling Wendy's, this is so-and-so, how may I help you?' Absolutely pathetic customer service. Will not be using this store ever again. I'll drive out of my way to Lake creek or parmer from here on out. At least I've NEVER had a problem with either of...
