Willow Country Bar — Restaurant in Austin

The place was empty on Saturday when we arrived but the music was good. We decided to enjoy a drink up top and dance. The drinks were okay. The waitress was Rude as heck. She served the group in front of us and then completely ignored us when we tried to order a drink. Not sure if she was just a jerk or has a issue with black people. A guy nearby saw us waiting and came over and got our drink order. The place looks very worn and torn from the chairs to the benches. Not to mention the nasty bathroom with NO lock. Not only is there NO Lock there is a huge hole where the lock would go so everyone can see you while using the restroom. Absolutely no privacy..overall I will not go back to this bar there was a much better one further...

Was not anywhere near this bar and walked up and the door guy says he couldn't let me in because he had "seen me pacing the street for the past 15 minutes.". Then he changed his story to 45 minutes. When I asked for a manager the guy next to him, a guy named Dakota, said he was the manager and was of no further assistance. My party of 10 reassured him that I was not the guy he supposedly saw but to no avail. If you have a hot chick, she can go in and you won't be let in ... Go here ... If you want a good night,...

Use to be an amazing bar... Yes, use to be... The lack luster service is on par with the facilities that include broken stall door's and flooding water. Getting a drink is what I assume the wait is like at the welfare office. I am pretty sure the guy next to me who actually received a drink paid with food stamps after a 30 minute wait. The only reason I provided 2 stars is because the door guys are solid. I think they need to move to east 6th along with their ghetto...
