Friendly service with generous portions! We came on a Wednesday Summer evening here and though it was pretty busy we were seated quickly. My picky eater was able to get fries with their kids quesadilla, our older child had the kids chicken taco, and we got fish tacos, carnitas nachos, and the shrimp enchiladas. Everything was delicious with large portions. The nachos had the right balance of chips, cheese, and toppings. The carnitas were delicious. My shrimp enchiladas- I don’t frequently order enchiladas, but the vibe at this restaurant told me to get enchiladas so I asked our server which enchiladas he’d recommend and he highly recommended the shrimp ones, so I went with it and was not disappointed at all. 1) the tortillas for enchiladas are corn & gluten free which can be an important detail for some. 2) the sauce for the shrimp enchiladas was heavenly and addictive. One of the most delicious things I’ve eaten in a while. Highly recommend. My kids didn’t devour their food but both said everything was good. Husband had been craving Baja style fish tacos and these didn’t hit the spot for him. No surprise to me, this was not a “Baja fish taco” vibe, but def more of a fajitas and enchiladas sort of spot in my opinion. Would come back for sure!!!

Wow! Stopped in on a Tuesday evening with 10 guests (celebrating our parents' 37th anniversary). It was quite a wait/busy, but they put tables together for us right on the sand in front of the water within minutes. Very kind, friendly greeter. Ordered several drinks and dishes, and everyone loved their choices! Prices were as expected for the area. Like most of the restaurants, they do not offer tap water in glasses. You have to order bottled water. But they did allow us to bring our own tumblers of water. -Potato Tacos + Salsa Verde on the side (delicious!) -Lazy enchilada (folded in half) with red sauce wad so good (almost an Italian flavored red sauce) -Bahama Mama Cocktail -Pomegranate Daquiri (little too sour/sweet) -Lava Flow frozen Cocktail -Crab Enchilada Everyone raved about their dishes and drinks. Would highly recommend for a nicer meal with a group. Restrooms inside, and interior decor and atmosphere was very nice as well.

We enjoyed a nice lunch here! Service was very friendly! Food was really good but it was a bit more spendy for lunch than we'd normally do. But, taking into account that this is an island and getting food over here is more of a process than mainland restaurants. This makes the priceing seem on point. The salsas were yummy! The margaritas were good, we didnt splurge for their award-winning marg, but maybe I will try that next time! I had a lobster taco. I don't think, I'd order it again however it was an interesting flavor combo! My husband got a special that was so delicious! My son got fish and chips! Everything seemed fresh! The dining area was a fun environment! We will be back when we visit Catalina next time!

Long post but very informative, if you expect excellent customer service. As we were enjoying the beach, we seen them setting up on the beach and thought it would be nice to have dinner there, so my husband ask the gentleman setting up how long they will be out there. He replied, “I don’t sir” . So my husband left to go look at the menu and time they close, as he was gone I over heard a women named Leticia and him talking about the situation. Her response was “ I don’t care they can go over there”. I tried to explain to her the reason my husband asked that and she blatantly ignored me just giving me dirty looks and kept setting up. We walked up to the front and asked to speak to the manager but waited for 10min and concluded nothing was going to be done so I explained to the hostess that it was ok but the leticia women needs better customer service. At that point leticia pulled down her mask and asked “who me?” To which I had replied, “yes”. She then proceeded to get loud as she was waking up closer to me. I did not even get to explain my reason as to why; however, she already knew exactly what I was talking about because she brought up the fact that she didn’t even talk to me that she was just setting up and she refused to hear my complaints or even talk to me with respect, at that point it was not even worth it. I just said “it not even worth it” and walked away, as I did so she made a loud “ayyy” sigh and turned around and stomped back to the front. And That is exactly what I mean by her having lousy customer service and very rude demeanor because of that she is the reason I refused to spend my money there. Do not treat people that way even if they are wrong you handle it with respect and courtesy when working in...

What a fantastic place. I will definitely return here next time I visit.

First, my wife and I wanted Mexican cuisine and found several, so as we reviewed the menus, Maggie's piqued our interests with originality in their menu. My wife ordered "Mom's Avacado Enchilada" and she added steak to it. I settled on their "Braised Duck Enchiladas". I took a photo of the menu to show my dad the "Duck Chili Rellanos" as he is a chili rellano fan.

We also partook of guacamole and chips and a couple of adult beverages to start the meal. The fresh made tortilla chips were a huge bonus we didn't expect. The amount of guac was great. We both enjoyed the two distinct salsas. The mild was fantastic flavor. The hot was not overpowering, and had a subtle bite to it after. Mai Tai for my wife and a Strawberry Mojito for myself. Both were good.

My duck enchilada was great and unique. I loved the mole sauce smothering the dish. My only negative was the enchiladas not being rolled. They were placed like tacos on their side and then smothered. Not bad, just different. It was cooked perfectly and the black beans and rice were also really tasty. My wife really enjoyed her Avocado Enchilada, stating "great flavor". Both dishes came with black beans and rice. The "best black beans I've ever had", was a direct quote from my wife. They were really good.... Really good.

All in all, what a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go again next time I get to the island (this was out first time, and won't be our last). Thank you Maggie's for GREAT FOOD and a...

We had the pleasure of dining at Maggie's Blue Rose on December 14th. I had done my research before we arrived and had come to the conclusion based on previous reviews this was the place for us to have lunch, based on the restaurant's rating and their vegetarian offering. The location didn't hurt either!

I was worried it might be too busy but when we walked up we were seated very quickly and an extremely friendly server came by to take our drink order. Drinks in hand we perused the menu and settled on some enchiladas and some grilled street corn on the cob as an appetizer.

The drinks were amazing and we were immediately blown away by the salsa that came with the chips, so much so we asked for some to go and they gave us some! If we were going straight home we'd gladly buy a container of it, it was so good.

The grilled Mexican corn on the cob arrived and was finished quickly as it was so tasty and then the food arrived. Let me know you, this was definitely not your typical taco shop or even fine dining Mexican food restaurant variety. Maggie's is next level. The flavors were amazing! We ate every bite!

We polished off the drinks, had a shot of tequila and bid miss Maggie adieu, until next time. And there will DEFINITELY be a next time, in fact we're due back in May....
