Zerpa's Antojos Criollos — Restaurant in Aventura

I have been a loyal customer of Zerpa’s Weston store for years and I will continue to be because their products and the way they assist the customer at that store is simply the best!

However, for the first time my mother and I used this store in Aventura and I had THE WORST customer service experience not only from the lady assisting behind the desk Daimara but primarily from the store’s manager Mari.

We were requesting the refund of two products ($15 of $218 spent) that were left in the store and they were refusing to return the money of products they have had all the time in their position. After multiple calls and a horrible customer service received especially from the store manager Mari, I ended up talking to the general manager, Erica that was able to easily resolve this issue with the same amazing assistance I have ever received from Weston’s store and apologizing for the horrible treatment received from Mari and Daimara at Aventura.

I will NEVER EVER visit this store again just because of the staff and I recommend you all do the same!

I bought hallacas and a ham bread in December 23, 2024. I tasted one of the hallacas and the ham bread. They are the worst I had tasted in 60 years. The hallacas were salty, with very few ingredients and the batter spreaded when I opened it. (I cooked it following their rules). The batter of the ham bread was very thick and it only had ham. The olives, capers and raising were tiny and chopped very small. Almost imperceptible. I went the next day to the store to return the other hallacas and the bread. The person who attended didn’t give me a refund. She said that they only give a refund if the products are damaged. I left the products in the store. I don’t recommend this...
