We have been patiently waiting for yall to open closer to home, and it finally happened! We waited 4 days from the opening and couldn't wait any longer and boy it was still packed, as expected! I ordered online for pick up so that we could dodge the crowd at the door. Thinking that would be easier...but there were some hiccups. When I get there I waited across the street for a text to tell me what curbside spot I was supposed to go to. 15 minutes after my scheduled pickup time, I still hadn't gotten the text and all the curbside spots are full (some with no one in the vehicle). So I park and head to the door. I wait in the line of people that are waiting to dine in but really needed to talk to someone so I could get my food. I spoke to 3 different Hosts outside but they just kept asking "did you get a text" when I say say no, they direct me to the line of waiting people. When I say I'm not dining in, they tell me curbside is around the corner. Correct, curbside is also full and I still haven't recieved a text to know what spot I'm in...its now 30 minutes after my pick up time. I walk in, and a manager meets me at the door "did you get a text" I say no and before I can say I'm picking up I'm told to wait outside until I get a text. I had to get a little out of character just to be heard to get our food order. Then I'm told the next time I need to go to curbside to pick up my order. I let it go because restaurant openings are absolute hell for managers and staff, I've been on both ends of it. The anxiety is real for those hosts at the front line of it all. They repeat themselves over and over all shift long. Just don't forget problems pop up, and sometimes you have to snap out of the loop and listen so that it can be fixed.
Our food was GREAT, like it always is. And we will absolutely be back because we love Bubba's 33! 5 stars for the food. We will dine in down the road so that our service experience can...
Read moreWent here for my husband's birthday and was Very disappointed!! We were put on the waiting list to be seated and got a text that said 10 minute well after 25 minutes we were told the table we were waiting for the party had been there for 2hrs already although I saw multiple empty tables that were available, so we asked to sit outside and they gave us a high top yet we had 2 toddler's with us but to avoid waiting we took it. Our waitress never introduced herself or gave us her name. Took our drink order then asked us if we wanted appetizers and we ordered 3 yet she only wrote down 2 so after wondering where the 3rd one was she notified us she forgot to put it in. So it came out like 3 minutes before our food. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich no onion glad I looked because it had a bunch of onions on it, she failed to bring out my dipping sauce until I asked, we never got refills on any of our drinks nor did she come back to make sure we got everything and see if everything was good. My husband ordered the super stromboli it was NASTY so he sent that back along with the side of fries which was a extra charge. She took the stromboli off but not the fries, she charged us extra for bacon bits yet they came with the fully loaded fries on the appetizer but we asked could she put them on the side because I don't eat pork. She mixed up our bill as my oldest son was paying for his own meal. Then she got a attitude because she had to fix our bill 3 times because of her mess up. This location is the worst experience we have ever had. We have been to the Greenwood and Fishers locations and we love them but this location needs help and a better staff!!!! Very DISAPPOINTING especially when it's only 5 minutes away from where we live, I rather drive to Greenwood or Fishers for friendlier service, better food quality and server's...
Read moreFirst impression as we walked up to the front door: The outdoor speakers are absurdly loud. If you ever have to wait to be seated and there's no room in the lobby, you'll have to stand a solid 100 feet or so away from the outside entrance, unless you love the sound of blaring music, or just don't care to have the option of holding a conversation amongst your group without having to yell.
Once inside, it was a much more tolerable decibel level, thankfully. Hopefully it wasn't just because it was opening day in the NFL, and the music was only turned down in favor of the game broadcasts.
We ordered onion rings for one appetizer. They were underdone, pale, and incredibly greasy with no crisp or flavor whatsoever.
Ordered the garlic parm wings for the other appetizer. Absolutely awful. They appeared on the outside to be baked, but once again were incredibly oily/greasy, as well as game-y/rubbery. There was really no flavor to them, other than the overwhelming taste of cooking oil, since they were absolutely smothered in it. A giant pool of oil also formed at the bottom of the basket, which was easily half an inch deep. A small order of 6 wings should not have a noticeable amount of standing oil in the basket. We each had 1 and didn't touch the other 4.
I decided on the chicken parm sandwich for my entree. This was actually good, and a very good sized sandwich. It came with fries and some sort of mayo/aioli on the side. The fries were bland and the aioli was either just straight up mayo, or there was so little of whatever else was in it that it just tasted like mayo. Still not entirely sure what the point of serving mayo or aioli with a chicken parm sandwich is, but without it the sandwich was at least good.
I give the chicken parm a 4/5 and everything...
