Here’s my Pure Barre story: I’ve been loyal to the gym since I was a teenager. Weights, cardio machines, etc. I did it all. But, I just couldn’t seem to quite reach my goals. I even did grueling personal training for months this year trying to shed stubborn holiday weight and get endorphins every day. BEFORE Pure Barre I wasn’t losing weight, the muscles I wanted to isolate seemed impossible to reach, and - the most important factor to many - I wasn’t having a good time while I worked out. Pure Barre was EXACTLY what I needed to start reaching goals — both mental and physical! It took only A WEEK AND A HALF of classes for my friend to say, “Woah! Have you lost weight?” It was like Pure Barre classes kicked on my metabolism. After years of doing what I thought was best for my body, and then switching to Pure Barre exclusively for exercise, my body rewarded me with a drop in 4 pounds in that one and a half week — and I felt AMAZING. I have fun at every class I go to. I always look forward to barre class now! The instructors are so compassionate, talented, and cultivate a really safe space to focus on a healthy mind and body. If I’m not ready for a full move yet, the instructors have helpful modifications on-hand. I have not one bad thing to say about this place. I joined Pure Barre after a pretty traumatic event for myself. I started out with just the free class, which is an amazing option they give you to make sure it’s a workout for you and not a huge commitment! That free class sucked me in. Not only did my body feel good but the staff AND the other members made me feel welcome! Each time I walk through the doors, I find smiling faces and new ways to level up the mind-body connection. The studio is growing and loves to celebrate milestones!
