This former Avon-ite turned NYer was pleasantly surprised by my thin crust pizza. The sauce and toppings were pretty good! Mine had mushrooms, black olives and sausage. The sausage is the broken up kind not the sliced kind. It was good, not the kibbles kind like the pizza chain with the D in name . The thin crust took me by surprise because it was actually crisp. And thin. I can't tell if it is fresh and hand thrown because I didn't see them prepare it although the kitchen was open at the counter which I like because they work right in front of you. So if the dough came the fridge I don't care this time. It was just good enough to overlook that. BTW, the place is clean and the help is well trained. That comes from good ownership and management. I will start with something nice....service was friendly and courteous. I ordered a thin crust 8" pepperoni pizza and one order (regular size) spaghetti and side order of meat balls (regular size). This was a take out order.

When I opened the container of spaghetti and meat balls....wow!!! It looked like a very small child's portion with two, not three miniature size meat balls and spaghetti. The serving size was very underwhelming, so much so, I drove back to the restaurant for a refund. Worst possible value!!

So, if you like friendly service, child like portions and over priced food...this is your place. I wish I had a taken a picture. As they say a picture is worth a...

We went to Monicals for a quick lunch during our busy work day. I was skeptical that we would be served pizza quickly so we could get back to the office. We ordered their breadsticks and cheese sauce, shared a side salad, and a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. The meal was really good and came out quickly. The service was wonderful.
