Hobby Lobby — Local services in Avon

Very disappointed. I went to purchase a small wishing well (the size that would be in a fairy garden) and it was out of stock. The employees politely offered a rain check and they would call when it comes in.

The crazy started after received the call that it was in. When I went to pick it up, the store manager informed me that it was not back there. So, after explaining that I had received a call letting me know that it was, she went to look for herself and came back with the same info .. it's not there. She went on to sarcastically explain to me how long she has worked there and it's definitely not there. The worst part of the situation was when an employee from the stock room was standing there and I started to ask him something and she interrupted to say " he wouldn't know, HE'S JUST A STOCK BOY!" Completely rude and uncalled for.

The next day I got a call from the same person who called the first time to let me know that the item was in and had been.

As a constant customer to hobby lobby my experience today was a let down. I am a black women for one and was with my young son. We stood in a long line for about 5 minutes as they only had one register open at 3pm on a Monday. A young lady by the name of Hannah opened up another cash register. I stepped out of line to get in her line. Once I got to her register she told me very rudely that they only except returns at register 2. I asked her if I had to get out of line again and go to the end of the line that I was previously in, she rudely told me yes & proceeded to ring up the next persons items . It would have been good customer support to do something or intervene so that we didn’t have to go to the end of the line. She was very careless and nonchalant to me. Everyone is so helpful there, except we tried to purchase a wall hanging, that had a sign right in front of it that said 50%off, when we got to checkout it was full price. My husband took a manager over and showed him, he said sorry just wall hangings and table decor are 50%off, my husband turned it around and showed him the hooks where it hangs on a wall. The manager still would not honor it, and probably will go to Michael's from now on. Over $7.00 their mistake not ours. The manager could have over rode the register due to it being a wall hanging and literally right behind the 50% off sign.
