My first time there but it was my mom and cousins 2nd or 3rd time. I was a little weary at first because it’s very small and quiet, but it had just opened for the day when we got there but once people settled in, it definitely didn’t feel like we had to whisper. We had the absolute best waitress Helen and 100% would request her if you go there! We got scallops, ribeye with blue cheese butter, and the chicken pasta and all 3 were great portions for the price and tasted absolutely delicious. Not one complaint on the food at all. The drinks were also amazing, the waiters and waitresses actually make each drink their self opposed to a bartender doing all the drinks which I think is really cool and personal! They also bring them to you so chalk full you can barely take a sip without spilling it - not a bad thing! Definitely delicious blue cheese stuffed olives for a classic dirty martini, cosmo was great and the espresso martini was also amazing. To top it off my mom got the crème brûlée and said it was also good. My mom also accidentally spilled her drink everywhere and they were so sweet about it, getting napkins to cover the huge wet spot on the table and replacing her drink with no questions asked. Would highly recommend this...
Read moreThe service was top notch, although a little slow and we were the only ones in the back rooms. They do try to remove your plates fast.
This is definitely for a special occasion, the prices are high! $40-50 for a steak.
While I really enjoyed the restaurant, I thought the atmosphere was dark and your voice echos which makes the rooms very loud. It was a bit cold in the back room. Also, they had music playing that really distracted from your dining experience. It was bar music, not just sounds. Just a bit weird.
Our party ordered an old fashioned and a cucumber martini. Both were made strong. The old fashioned was okay.
Starters we ordered stuffed mushrooms and beef tenderloin chili off the specials menu. The mushrooms were a bit weird, not the usual. The chili was very runny, more like a soup.
Our mains we ordered
Filet mignon steak, which was cooked good and it was alright.
Delmonico ribeye was huge. Although not cooked properly.
Chicken Marsala was good. I thought heavy on the salt.
Creme brulee was good, maybe a bit runny.
Peanut butter cheesecake was very good, just rich.
Overall it was decent. But for that much money spent, we could have gone anywhere for much...
Read moreI have to say I was a little disappointed with our meal at Nemo Grill. We wanted to try a new restaurant for our anniversary. This is a restaurant in what used to be a house. The environment was clean but crowded. Not as upscale as the price would suggest. Service was not spectacular. We waited more than ten minutes to put our drink order in, which is a test for me. Ten minutes is too long when the waiter is casually walking around the room, looks at you multiple times, and continues past with no communication. Food was mixed. My husband had a delicious burger. He said it was prepared perfectly and tasted like steak. I had the lobster fettuccine. I was not as impressed with my meal. It was only ok- the lobster was too salty, the sauce not creamy enough, and the pasta was mushy. There was no salad included, so I ordered the Italian chopped salad. It was tasty. While this is not THE MoSt Expensive restaurant we have been to, pricing like this should provide a fantastic meal and I would just list this as “fine.” We probably...
