Look, I usually love Details; my family and I spend a lot of money there every year. Itâs so charming and has cute stuff BUT I just had a horrible experience with the owner, Lori. I purchased a bracelet and necklace just shy of a month ago as a Christmas gift. I had to return the items because the person I purchased them for gets rashes from metal. I live in Chicago and this was the soonest I could get back to Avon to return them. Lori was extremely rude about the return stating it was outside the return policy of 14 days (which no one informed me of when I purchased the items) and said sheâd only give me a store credit of $150. Okay, thatâd be fine but I tried explaining I live in Chicago and couldnât come sooner, her response was âwell I could have sold these 3 or 4 times over by now.â WOW, howâs that for customer service? Even the customer in line behind us thought she was being rude and she also had an attitude with the woman checking out in front of us.
Bottom line, this was a really disappointing experience and itâs hard to believe this behavior was coming...
