Two Bucks Avon — Restaurant in Avon

We normally love this place because they have good food and we can catch up with friends here. We went over Thanksgiving break and had the same server we normally get and he was awesome but when it came time to get the checks a different server brought our checks to us. My check accidentally had our friends dinner on it and they corrected the checks 2 times then when we said its still wrong our server said "well it would be a lot easier if you gave me your cards and I can get it figured out up at the register." We were not comfortable with this seeing as our checks were still wrong. We ended up using the pen given to you for signatures to correct the check and the last one we got was correct and we paid. We didn't want to be difficult but there was 2 entrees on our check that we didn't eat and someone else's drinks. We had 2 appetizers and 3 drinks total. I bet it would have been a lot easier if we both paid the extra +22$ We appreciate the time it took to get it right and didn't mean to be difficult we just didn't expect our checks to be almost double what they were...

I've written hundreds of reviews and rarely mention the servers by name, because the reader may not be reading in the same time period. I have to mention Caitlyn S (might not have gotten the spelling right) for being one of the best I've ever encountered. When I arrived on an early Wednesday afternoon, about 10 people were leaving having finished lunch. While I was there, about 24 other people came in mostly separately/individually, also for lunch. Caitlyn S took every order, drinks and food, indoors and on the patio, served the orders and made it look easy. Rather than complain, she cheerily made jokes like "looks like I'm getting my steps in today". She is a credit to the wait staff profession. And hey, kudos to the cook as well. After everyone was served he stuck his head out to help, but found that everyone was already taken care of. My food was great and as expected, and all the other meals seemed to be well received also. Stopped in for a late lunch on Black Friday. The pub was only half-full, which I feel was perfect timing. Servers were quite attentive, each tag-teaming between waiting on tables and pouring drinks at the bar. We had the fried pickles to start, which were large & delicious. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich & my husband had the special of the day mac: mac & cheese with chili. My sandwich was delicious as a chicken sandwich, but am not sure it hit the heat level that one would expect for the namesake. My husband enjoyed his dish, which was quite filling & he ended up taking a quarter of it home as leftovers.
