Osaka Hibachi & Sushi Express — Restaurant in Avon

I don't usually write reviews for anything, but man I had too after this experience...

Tried this place for the first time on June 5th and got the Sweet & Sour Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, Miso Soup, and Fried Oreos. Staff were very nice and got all my food ready in 10mins or so. Food itself tasted great and nothing was out of the ordinary until a few hours after eating, my stomach started hurting a lot and then I ended up vomiting. This continued to happen off and on throughout the night from 8pm-4am along with the "hershey squirts..." Vomited around 4-5 times in total to where my throat was sore af the next morning and my stomach felt like it took a punch from Francis Ngannou... 4 days later and I'm finally starting to eat normally again and was able to return to work.

In conclusion: I liked the staff and their quiet, little shop; but hated the food poisoning that will have you sitting on the toilet vomiting into a trash can/bucket while you're pooping your guts out... Can say for a fact that I would heavily NOT recommend...

This is not good sushi. I’m 70 years old and half Japanese, so I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in my life. First off, these guys appear to be Chinese. If not, they are definitely not Japanese. They were not friendly either. My major complaint however is that this sushi looks like sushi, but the flavor is so off par. Spicy tuna should be sharp on your tongue and excite your taste buds. Their spicy tuna was as bland as oatmeal., and the rice texture was dry and tough. The edamame had a chalky texture and was bland also. Seems like a theme. All in all my first experience there was a huge disappointment, and also my last. I wish I had made the commitment to drive down to Sushi Boss, but it was late, and I thought it would be good to try a sushi house close to home. My wife ordered this when they first opened up, She said the customer service was great, But when we got the food home it was disappointing, Very oily and bland, We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since they were just opening up and try other items on their menu, I tried placing a pick up order, the person taking my order was very rude and unprofessional, Even hung up the phone on me, i called back to check on my order and it was the same guy, Needless to say i canceled my order,
