Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Avon

This place consistently fails to cook the chicken and other ingredients to a safe internal temp of 140 degrees. Not even the cheese melts its so undercooked. Why serve food like this? Also rarely consistent even though I know its all made to order. Ohio menu items are a dollar cheaper, made well and fast. I get treated pretty poorly every once in a while at the window. I'm always pleasant and respectful to the staff. The food would be good otherwise but man this place needs help serving food safely and staff needs leadership/customer service trainings. There is horrible cell tower service while you are in the drive thru. Can't get any connection there but it is fine everywhere else.

Update two weeks after: I don't even feel safe coming around anymore, just getting passive aggressive behavior, intimidation etc. The condition is worsening and the reply from the business doesn't even mention what actions they are taking to address food safety or employee behavior. I just got chicken on my flatbread that was cold as an ice cube lol, colder than the avocado they put on. Clearly no care to improvement. Do you know how many times I had to eat cold chicken just cause I was starving and chose to come here? Do you imagine I want to come here after working hard all day to get this experience. I always order with pleases, don't bother staff, and am just another customer. Planning to forward a complaint to the city...

Oh boy where to begin. For starters the city of Avon should construct a memorial and a charity fund for this poor poor poor chicken wrap I received. At this point forward I am dedicating my life to ensure wraps are never treated in such an inhumane way ever again.

I have nearly 20 years experience in the food service industry and I know for an absolute fact that chicken wraps aren’t just accidentally made this way. The person who constructed this monstrosity is fueled by hatred and disdain for their job. It’s guaranteed they showed how this wrap was made to at least one other person and they both got a laugh out of the fact that someone was going to receive this liquid infused tortilla.

The Buffalo ranch soup that was crammed in with the few pieces of chicken spewed out of this wrap like the sacred blood of Jesus fell from the cross. Unlike the lamb of god however I gave this poor soul a proper burial. Lowering it slowly to the bottom of my trash can as the sounds of the forest played in the background.

Gave us day old food!! Our sides were labeled 6/27. Today is 6/28. Hopefully we don’t get sick from it.

Not worth it. So overpriced for a Wendy’s or McDonald’s quality restaurant. Not sure why everyone raves about it. We were absolutely disgusted with the quality of food.

The menu is very misleading. Every smoothie has added sugar, there’s no information about what kind of protein powder you’re getting, and the full list of ingredients isn’t disclosed on pretty much any item. We specifically asked for no cheese on a wrap and they gave us cheese. Only about a tablespoon of dressing was provided for their salad bowl which didn’t even touch all the lettuce, even after vigorous shaking to try to coat everything.
