Read moreI would like to begin w/ the reason for the 1 star is for the employee that really tried to help and represent Meijer in Avon ( but her assist manger over ruled. so i needed to try Meijers pick up as i am a walmarter but there is a product that i purchase several times a month that cost quit a bit and it is a necessity. unfortunately this product just keeps getting more and more cheaply processed and its a walmart brand so product is not gonna get any better. i just happened to need pick up a rx @ Meijer and bought couple from Meijer give it a quick comparison. Turns out better and store closer. Like i mentioned don't do meijer so wanted to "pick Up" 1) Meijer chargers if under a certain amount for pick up..hm ok so order enough not to get charged. 2) my order ended up was over 200.00. I received a courtesy call from pick up employee explaining some were out of stock, what substitute. ok, just grab flavors you do have. employee stated easy enough, but she needed to call me back because her assist manager (of the store, not the department to make clear) informed her that if she did that, it would wipe out the store and that she needed to inform me of that & I would need to "special order" and when it arrives come pick it up. So here were my comments that were asked the employee to communicate to her manager & the result of this being my FIRST and LAST purchase lol. 1) what does it matter, a sale/purchase is a sale whether I come in & "wipe you out" or i pick it up. still a profitable sale. 2) why didn't he call me to explain & if i decided to proceed w/ the "special Order" like she advised he would be the person Id need to speak with to arrange, instead his employee had to stop, call me (embarrassed as she advised earlier not a problem) 3) tell manager on Meijers website there is NOT a limit, in fact, there is a drop down & i could have selected a larger quantity 4) Does he say to customers that come in & say "purchase all the hamburger you can take that & wipe me out. OHHH after we picked up the order, we pulled away, parked and went inside and purchased the remaining of my customer order. Not sure we wiped him out, as there were other brands that were also gone and not one "wipe out" police present. Nice one bud, but from us the last...smart...
Read moreMeijer is always a nice place to go to get the things you need they're usually pretty well stocked up on everything and anytime I needed help the employees were usually pretty quick about helping me find what I needed or trying their best to resolve whatever issue I might have had their pharmacies usually pretty well on top of getting your scripts in pretty fast and back to you and I like the more parking lot because it's an open wide not so weird as some of the Walmart parking lots are plus Meijers has more available parking spaces and a more easy and simple way to park to go into the building show me my opinion I have not got a lot of complaints about Meijer the only one I would really pinpoint is the lack of respect other customers have for the employees and the property because people are gross for some reason nobody knows how to use a trash can and left her at home not sure why it seems like majority of the world thinks that the ground is a trash can when there are multiple trash cans throughout the parking in several of them in front of the doors so I'm not sure why people have problem with putting stuff in the trash or willing their carts to the cart return or back to the front of the store instead of just leaving them in the parking lot where they can roll around and smack but that has no bearing on meijer's that's more of a customer lack of respect for the and store and...
