So Sweet OBX — Restaurant in Avon

My family of 4 got in line at 8:22. Open flag was up and blowing in the wind. We had 2 groups ahead of us in line. The young girl came out and told us she was stopping service with the group ahead of us and was pretty nasty about it. We were there before they closed wanting to give them money. I’ll never understand businesses that refuse money. It was easier frankly to walk back to the pier and give our business to them.

Yeah we understand you have to close sometime. We were standing in line prior to your posted closing time. I told the girl working that we wanted to give you money and her response was “if you don’t like it, don’t eat here” after she already told us she wouldn’t serve us bc she was closing. This was the best last-minute find, and our only regret is that we didn’t know about this place when we got here on Saturday!
