My new favorite brunch place. A restaurant manager friend of mine in California told me about Leftie Lee's and, excited to have a new bakery in town, I began following and supporting it's owner leading up to it's opening in June. I finally made it here and the food is phenomenal! I began with the purple sweet potato bun. It is so soft and fluffy. It transported me to eating purple sweet potato treats in Maui, Hawaii. I ordered the avocado toast with an egg (especially looking forward to trying the milk bread). As you can see, the display is beautiful. You get a lot for your buck and it tastes amazing. The egg is cooked perfectly. It all goes down well with a bottomless cup of coffee from What a Wonderful World (nextdoor). And I get to enjoy it in an airy (and COVID safe) environment with a diverse and friendly group of folks. Or you can choose to eat outside at the tables, which I may do in the future when I come back with my friends and our pets. My only complaint is that the door to enter the space lacks a button to open the door for people with alternative capabilities (I came in on crutches and had to have someone hold the door for me to enter). I look forward to coming back!

I have been to a lot of bakeries and eateries, but this one is definitely in my top 5. You know something is delicious when it elicits a " Wow!" or a " Mmmmm." Everything I ate was so good! The baked goods are some of the best I've had. The service is always good. They are friendly and efficient. I love the atmosphere. The business is located in the new Olive and Pine in Avondale Estates. There are other businesses in the building as well. Here are my recommendations: 1. Pandan krispy treat 2. Any of the cupcakes. 3. Korean Fried Chicken sandwich with crispy potatoes 4. Kimchi Buttermilk biscuit with gravy. 5. Hawaiian Mac salad. 6. Cinnamon roll with cream cheese. 7. Sesame blondies.bloodiest. Go check them out.

This cranberry pistachio scone is pure magic—the kind of treat that makes time slow down with each bite. Its golden, crumbly exterior gives way to a soft, buttery center, where tart bursts of cranberry dance with the earthy richness of pistachios. There’s a delicate sweetness, not overpowering, just enough to highlight the contrast of flavors. The texture is both tender and satisfyingly crisp at the edges, a perfect harmony of rustic charm and indulgence. It’s the kind of scone that feels like a little moment of perfection—so good, you never want it to end.

Came here the second time because I was craving for their New Yorker sandwich. Sadly the quality wasn’t the same as when I had it the first time as store seems busier this time. Bacon wasnt fully crispy, eggs was saltier in certain bite, and scallion cream cheese wasnt well spread. My husband had the Cali burrito and he said it tastes fresh but nothing special, would have been better with some salsa.

Cashier staff did not really inform nor seems to have much urgency to inform their customers that food is ready so by the time we realize its ready, food has been sitting on the counter for some time.

Additionally, the cinnamon rolls seem to be a hot item and always run out whenever i arrive afternoon during the weekend. Is there a reason why you make such a small batch? Maybe increase it just during the weekend?

Hope they keep up the good work and take this...
