My new favorite brunch place. A restaurant manager friend of mine in California told me about Leftie Lee's and, excited to have a new bakery in town, I began following and supporting it's owner leading up to it's opening in June. I finally made it here and the food is phenomenal! I began with the purple sweet potato bun. It is so soft and fluffy. It transported me to eating purple sweet potato treats in Maui, Hawaii. I ordered the avocado toast with an egg (especially looking forward to trying the milk bread). As you can see, the display is beautiful. You get a lot for your buck and it tastes amazing. The egg is cooked perfectly. It all goes down well with a bottomless cup of coffee from What a Wonderful World (nextdoor). Bacon wasnt fully crispy, eggs was saltier in certain bite, and scallion cream cheese wasnt well spread. My husband had the Cali burrito and he said it tastes fresh but nothing special, would have been better with some salsa.
Cashier staff did not really inform nor seems to have much urgency to inform their customers that food is ready so by the time we realize its ready, food has been sitting on the counter for some time.
Additionally, the cinnamon rolls seem to be a hot item and always run out whenever i arrive afternoon during the weekend. Is there a reason why you make such a small batch? Maybe increase it just during the weekend?
Hope they keep up the good work and take this...

You know something is delicious when it elicits a " Wow!" or a " Mmmmm." Everything I ate was so good! The baked goods are some of the best I've had.
The service is always good. They are friendly and efficient.
I love the atmosphere. The business is located in the new Olive and Pine in Avondale Estates. There are other businesses in the building as well.
