I’ve never had an issue with my ice cream, but the service here? My goodness. There is a total of TWO people at this location with common decency. This place is overran by KIDS, and is usually a disaster. There’s been times that I have gone in and have been completely ignored for minutes while they two girls are having a gossip conversation behind the counter. My man and I were the only ones there. A few weeks ago, I called and asked for the manager and the girl rudely goes “why..? What’s up..?” And I express that it’s about employment and she goes “oh… well, we don’t have a manager.” So I asked who does their scheduling and food order then, and she goes “the supervisor.” So just when I think I’m getting through to her I go, “perfect! That’s who I’m looking to talk to. Do you know when she’ll be in?” And she goes “no.” So I thanked and hung up. I go in a few days later and find out that that was incorrect and they DO in fact have a manager. I called today and asked to speak with her by name, as I was told to call this morning at open. I’m told that she’s not available, and that she’s very busy. I say that that’s not a problem and am curious when I can reach back out. She then proceeds to tell me that “she’s too busy and they’re not hiring anyways.” At this point I believe I’m dealing with the same teenager I dealt with the first time. So I ask her, “okay, I actually have something else I’d like to talk to her about as well. Do you have any idea when I’ll be able to do that?” And she goes “like I said she’s too busy. Is it like a tax question? I’m the team lead (greeeeat) so I might be able to answer. Also, she isn’t our manager she’s the owner. We don’t have a manager.” (That makes her the manager if she’s writing your schedules and overseeing, as well as doing the scheduling, but okay..) so I tell her “I’d really rather talk to her about the matter” and she goes “well she’s real busy but if you want I can give her your name and have her call you back, but it could be a week or longer.” And I was like yeah give her my name please.
I know my name is never going to get passed over. At this point, I don’t really care as these aren’t people I’d like to work with. I have years of management experience, and the way that this place looks, which is usually messy with these literal children running ramped, I could have turned it around for this location. Or at least had given them a decent ADULT manager presence since the one girl claims they “don’t have one.” I hope the manager, owner, whatever her title truly is sees this, and can have a constructional conversation with her team. Every interaction I’ve had with this “lead” on the phone has been rude and unprofessional. Read moreI came to this location with my family to find Hailey walking in and out of the back room with a very sour attitude. We waited about 5 mins before anyone said anything to us. Finally Hailey came out of the back room and with a nasty no care attitude said “what ice cream will you be having” my mom then ordered her ice cream and asked for it to be in a waffle cone and before my mom could finish Hailey snapped “we don’t have any waffle cones we only have the bowls” my mom said that it was fine and then again Hailey snapped “that will be $1.29 is that ok” my mom said that was fine before finishing with my mom she snapped asking for the next ice cream and my son asked for the new Hawaiian ice and she said “we don’t have that because we are out of ice but you can go to the boba house next door to get the same thing” after finishing my moms ice cream I ordered the new Reese’s peanut butter cup ice cream and was told they are only sold in a pack so decided to just order the dough lightful peanut butter instead. Finally we were done ordering we go to pay and that continued our bad experience. My dad payed with a debit card and informed Hailey that it said complete she insisted it didn’t go through and that she needed to swipe the card again. My dad informed her that this previously happened where they charged twice and it was a struggle to correct it. Hailey informed my dad if it does charge twice to come back and they will give a refund. While eating our ice cream we witnessed 3 other people come in to pick up their pre ordered cakes and were told they did not have their cakes but would substitute 2 small cakes for the pre ordered large cake. One other lady ordered a medium cake and was given a small cake and was told it will feed 8 people. Read moreMy parents and I got ice cream after watching a movie. One of the employees happened to help both my mom and dad and gave them a poor amount of ice cream for what they order (Gotta Have it each). The employee dropped half of my mom's ice cream and when my dad politely mentioned that the ice cream amount was that of a love it, they proceeded to pour in more toppings instead of providing the right amount of ice cream he paid for. Not to mention that the cheesecake ice cream tasted like frozen milk rather than actual cheesecake flavoring, according to my mom, who always orders cheesecake at previous Cold Stone locations. No hate to the employee since it seemed like they were a newbie, but definitely wish the manager was there to help them out instead of having to see them struggle with my parents order like they did, unfortunately. It sucked having to see my parents – who were excited about getting cold stone – to be disappointed in what they got. (My ice cream was well made, personally, then again a different employee helped). PLEASE BE POLITE WITH EMPLOYEES EVEN IF THEY MESS UP, AND PLEASE PROVIDE ASSISTANCES TO THOSE WHO MAY BE...
