I recently visited AT C Fresh, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I ordered a pound and a half of lemon pepper shrimp, while my son ordered the same amount of peeled garlic butter shrimp. However, his order arrived incorrectly with the shells still on. When we informed the server, he seemed annoyed rather than helpful.
As for my order, it was supposed to be lemon pepper, but what I received was heavily garlicky with no discernible lemon flavor. When I asked about it, I was told that all their dishes come with garlic, which didn’t make any sense given the specific flavors we had ordered. I decided to eat it anyway, not wanting to cause a scene, but I was shocked to find two hairs in my food. To make matters worse, I discovered a feather with a bone in my shrimp, which was completely off-putting. I discreetly went to the counter to inform them, but the damage to my dining experience had already been done.
The biggest issue came when I received the bill. I was charged $17 for a pound and $12 for a half-pound of shrimp for my order, and $19 and $15 respectively for my son’s order. When I asked why the half-pound was so overpriced, the explanation was confusing, and I was too frustrated to continue the conversation. To add insult to injury, I noticed that a 10% service fee (gratuity) was already included in the bill, yet I was still prompted to leave an additional tip. It felt like they were trying to double-dip on gratuities, which left a sour taste in my mouth.

My family of three went to eat. Mind you, we go pretty often and this time, I decided it would be nice to treat them for lunch on me.
My first complaint: Their sauce ratio to food has gotten much lower than before. It barely filled up the tray and so we asked the person serving at that time if they could add just a little bit more sauce in addition to what was already given. The guy said yes that would be okay. I assumed it was out of kindness, but no, it was later added to the receipt.
My second complaint: I was getting ready to pay on their little portable machine when something caught me by surprise. It was the addition of the extra sauce for $5. I was already baffled but just let it go, it's just $5 anyways. Then I asked for a paper copy of the receipt. I looked and it has automatically added 10% gratuity? This was not mention nor SHOWED on the little portable machine. We were planning on tipping with cash but since we saw the 10% added gratuity in the total, we decided not to.
My third complaint: In addition, I was conversing with my boyfriend about it and he said him and his family also encountered the same problem. But worse. They ended up double tipping since they also were not aware of the 10% gratuity added.
In conclusion, the food is really good but the shadiness of the whole business was unrighteous. If you want food, get it to go and ALWAYS get a copy of the receipt. You never know...

Food never came and we ended up leaving. Response to owners reply: honestly can’t believe the owner is responding so rudely like the night was our fault. When we signed up he said 20minute wait so idk why the rude response saying it was a Friday night like we should have assumed. Secondly I never received a phone call, we were sitting outside the establishment waiting. Next, yes the fries came out in 20minutes, the owner should clarify that part, the seafood did not arrive. Lastly owner did offer us to stay after they had closed but what he didn’t mention was that they were already cleaning which means mopping, taking out the trash, spraying down the tables and his staff was visible tired because we waited till way after closing. And maybe he didn’t notice but when one of his staff members asked him in front of us if that was the last order in the window and when he said no they’re still waiting, they looked so disappointed. So who stays after closing in a situation where the poor staff is tired and the MAIN food isn’t arriving.
