BAIT AND SWITCH They STOLE my $9.00
HORRIBLE experience today, just HORRIBLE!!! I ordered 2 bobas as usual as I'm a regular customer that comes there often. I enjoy getting their bobas within 5 minutes and going about my day.
Today one of the young girls helped me, I paid her and I began to wait for my order as uaual. I left a $2 tip as I normally do and they typically take the tip money right away for whatever reason.
Then the adult lady (Chinese owner I assume) comes out and advises me that they're out of the regular Boba if I'd like to wait 25 minutes for the diamond Boba instead. I told her I cannot wait that long I need to leave now and if I can get a refund. She says we have enough regular Boba for 1 drink and I said ok I'll take that 1 with Boba and refund the other one. Before we finished agreeing on it, the young girl who initially helped me came out with both drinks and said 1 of the drinks had Boba but the other one doesn't maybe a little. I told her I did not want the one with no or little Boba I'd like a refund. She said she can't do nothing about it. I tried the Boba drink with no Boba's in it and confirmed there's NO Boba in my Boba drink that I just paid for ($7 + $2 tip) = $9
I then turned to the owner (Adult Chinese Lady) and asked her for a refund for the Boba drink that had no Boba, she then had the nerve and audacity to offer me ($0.50 cents) refund....$0.50 Cents.... the cost for the Boba since the Taro Tea was already made... I WAS MORTIFIED.....MORTIFIED!!!! 50 CENTS.....WOW....50 CENTS REFUND....ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!
I explained to her that I'm a business owner myself and I would've first, advised my workers to advise ALL customers that we're out of Boba BEDORE, "BEFORE" they placed an order and if a customer pays without knowing there is no more Boba, IMMEDIATELY refund the customers order, IMMEDIATELY NO QUESTIONS asked. Unfortunately the Chinese Lasy handled this COMPLETELY WRONG, COMPLETELY WRONG but she kept offering me $0.50 cents refund. After asking for a full refund numerous times, without her agreeing to it, I told her forget it, you can keep the drink with no Boba and my $9 cash I paid.
I understand we're in a recession but you just stole my hard earned $9 cash without mercy and with no remorse AND on top of that, you're teaching your employees to steal from us customers as well...

My ice cream was beyond my expectations. The listing says "chocolate". Doesn't even come close to this heavenly dessert! I asked for a couple of the oreo cookies from the "devil's" version thinking it would help liven up the chocolate. They weren't really needed (but you bet I ate them anyway lol). It came with little Graham cracker bears all over the top. The inside of this delicious chocolate though had amazing pieces of brownie (I think). Read moreWe're regulars at Boba Point and it has the best combination of amazing boba and great service! They have an amazing variety of drinks and bobas to choose from, and they add more options with the ability to mix and match. The drinks and boba always come out great, the wait is never too long, and the store is never really that crowded. It has its moments, but it's usually a very quick wait in line and not much longer of a wait to get your order. The staff is pretty friendly and we love that every 10th drink is free, since we're regulars. The price of the drinks is very fair, and you get quite a lot for the amount you pay. Overall, it's always a great experience...
