Food and service were phenomenal. The dining room is a little small so there aren’t many tables. We got lucky and showed up before lunch rush. Since we are a family of seven, it’s often hard for us to find seating. Everything was clean, including the restroom. The food came out fresh like it’s all made as you order it. We had many different dishes from pupusas to caldos. My in-laws are Salvadoran born and raised. This food is authentic down to the banana leaf wrapped tamales. From the beginning of my visit, they were cordial and helpful. The restaurant was small. I couldn't find parking but one of their staff members helped me. He accommodated me and my family in an extra parking space with a shaded area. Once I walked in we noticed it was too small but then they told us they have extra sitting space in the back. They did the most they could for us to enjoy our visit. The food to say the least was authentic and amazing. Every single plate I ordered was to my expectations. This is my favorite place for authentic homemade Salvadorean food in Bakersfield. We have been going there for months! The owner, Consuelo, will take care of you. We go there for the pupusas and Sopa de Gallina India Asada. The pupusas are exactly how God intended them to be and at a good price.
