Heartbeat Pizza — Restaurant in Bakersfield

My family likes to try new pizza places because it's the one thing we can agree on to eat in our house. We tried Heartbeat for the 1st time, and were VERY impressed. We got their Family Deal, 2 Large 2 Topping Pizzas, Breadsticks, 16 Wings, Wedges, & a 2 Litter Bottle of Soda. 1st Off, Great Deal!! Lot of food for a decent price. One of our favorite pizza places in town(I won't mention any names), has been a staple in Bakersfield for a long time. That place has always had great Pizza, Wings, Wedges & Chicken. But we don't go very often, as it can be really expensive. Heartbeat Pizza rivals that "Other Pizza Place" Pizza was cooked well, sauce, cheese and toppings were delicious. The wings were just mildly spicy, but favor flavorful. The wedges are the great battered wedges that we all long for. Better than other places that have those things that are just seasoned steak fries. The Bread sticks was the only little bit of a let down. Let me say they were ok, and I mean just ok. They are the type you get at Olive Garden. But not as soft, and not as flavorful. But I see room for improvement. We phone ordered it, and the woman on the phone was friendly and made sure to be on point to take my order. When we picked up in 25 minutes, the order was already ready to go. Dishonest pizza place false advertising & menu , Walked in for a uber eats order .. Paid 23 bucks for a “stuffed crust” to be told when I walked in “we don’t carry stuffed crust” after already paying online (3.99) extra … The Meat Lovers pizza wasn’t so tasty either , the one at Sam’s club tastes far more better and cheaper too I regret not going somewhere else as I wanted to give this local business a try ! Then the guy tried to brush it off after telling they don’t have stuffed crust and said “do you want a free soda” , I said no ill take a lemonade, he then trys to lie to my face saying again “we don’t carry that” as I was looking up at his menu above his head the whole time , it says “lemonade 2.99” …

False advertising here all the reviews are legit from there family members or from folks they might know ..

Luckily my order was a Uber Eats I’ll be getting my money back ASAP !

Also a Soggy mess was so greasy everything was falling off and not to mention the salami was also undercooked

Edit: I also took there menu home with me and snagged a picture of “Make any medium or large pizza stuffed crust extra 3.99” then the lemonade part … Yall definitely deserve a 1 start I wish there was a 0 star , How are you guys gonna have it on both menus when I walk in and on the paper ? Get it...

This pizza place is truly a hidden gem and easily stands out as the best in town. The deals they offer are unbeatable, consistently better than the competition, making it a great value for your money. The pizza itself is exceptional the aroma alone is enough to draw you in, and the taste never disappoints. They offer a wide variety of classic and specialty pizzas, many of which you won’t find anywhere else.

But it doesn’t stop at the pizza. Their wings, bread, potato wedges, and sauces are all top-tier. Everything is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. One of the best parts? They’re never stingy with the sauce, which makes a big difference.

The staff here are fast, friendly, and professional. The service is consistently excellent, and you always feel welcomed when you walk in. Whether you're picking up or dining in, they make the experience enjoyable every time.
