Taco Bell has really done down the drain. Literally. Went through the drive thru at 3:54 pm today, ordered a #6 and a #4. I live 2 blocks away from this location I get home to eat with my son and my Chalupas are hard as a rock! I call, a young lady who obviously was not a manager answered the phone by saying “hello” I was confused, didn’t know if I had actually called the right number. I was told I could go in and get my combo replaced at my convenience. So I did just that at about 9:30pm, I walk in the young lady cleaning the dining room I was ignored by, the 2 employees talking to that young lady while I stood at the counter ignored me one of them a “manager”. When I got to the counter there was a “manager” cleaning the area where the cold food is placed, never turning to look towards the counter even though I made moise with my keys, as I waited another minute another “manager” with a register walks by me looks at me and keeps doing his “manager”duties, he asked me if I was waiting for an order only after he was done with whatever he did. I told him I was waiting on someone to help me, he said “what’s wrong” I let him know I ordered a #6 earlier and the chalupas were hard as a rock and I was asked to come back to have remade, he turned and asked the “manager” that was cleaning the line to remake my number 6, but he never mentioned to her the problem I had with the #6 earlier, so when that manager gave them to me I let her know that I was told I would get fresh fried chalupas and that I had seen her grab whatever was on the line to remake them, she replied “oh I didn’t know that” and that would be correct because the previous manager I talked to didn’t communicate that to her. So I asked her to remake them with fresh chalupas, she again decided to make them with chalupas already sitting on the line for however long because it only took another minute for her to turn around and give me my order. TB should really go back to focusing on customer service instead of your timer at the window, a greeting, a smile, an apology, a how can I help you wouldn’t hurt either, after all at 20$ an hour and 20$+ for managers is the least they can do. Read moreI went Taco on Wed April 15 at abt 10 am I ordered a NachoBell Granda and I also asked to 2 extra cups of cheese with it. I go home and there was no extra cheese. I also found the chips were stale. Also I payed for extra cheese. What is wrong with this place. They never ever get their orders right. There was very little hamburger on it and and my refried beans were somewhere. Any time I go to a Taco Bell they always get the order wrong. Always. The one that is on the same side if the street as Valley Plaza, down the road also near the Old Dollar Tree store. It was filthy. Food all over everywhere. Tables were filthy and the dinning room was in disarray, with filthy tables. But worst yet the bathrooms were so filthy and urine all over the floor, soda pop , the toilet was urinated all over it. As we walked into the restaurant it stunk not like food but some type of chemical. No one was Taking orders. 1 workers was just walking around. My order had almost not meat in it, all shell. This Taco Bell needs a new manager. Someone from the headquarters needs to come down. It was filthy and the wait was to long and had no manners to the people taking the orders. Read moreThis has got to be one of the worst Taco Bells you can find in Bakersfield, CA. One of the biggest complaints, that they have on a day to day basis is their speed of service. Avoid this Taco Bell at almost all hours of the day, because it will take anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour to get your food. There has been several times when I was simply forgot about and had to remind them that I was still waiting for my order.
The store is usually a mess, many times the store will be out of many things, simple things, such as napkins, straws or even taco sauce. One night they were even out of ground beef! What the hell, a Taco Bell without ground beef?! The employees are rude and would much rather spend their time talking on their cell phones or gossiping to one another. One part of the store has an ant infestation that ruins an entire booth, several times I have been there, when a person has sat down in said booth and was bitten alive by angry red ants. Another problem they seem to have is with cockroaches. Many times when you go into the store you can find them dead in the lobby or dead in the bathrooms. One night while in drive-through, we saw a army of cockroaches come out of a sewer cover in the back and march right to the building. It was disgusting. It was a parade of parasites!
Another time, we ended up waiting over 45 minuets to get our order in drive-through, when we finally got out of drive-through, we were almost on empty on our gas. If Taco Bell wants to take that long, they better start paying for...
