honestly, i’m not one for negative reviews or reviews at all even but i was so appalled by the way i was treated downtown. i got there at 12:59 (february 17th, 2024) there was already a sign on the door saying “we will be back in 30 minutes.” so my friend and i took a stroll to some antique stores. we came back at 1:19 assuming they’d be back at 1:30pm. another customer arrived and waited about 20 minutes then left. a few minutes later a worker came out (around 1:43pm) and said they won’t be opening till 2. i told her we had been there since 1 and she said well the sign has been up since 1:30. which was not the case because even after window shopping at 1:19pm the sign was still up. she proceeded to tell us she won’t be dealing with attitudes and made a comment on my cross necklace. implying that i was in the wrong and that i shouldn’t have been questioning her or something because i am a christian?? my friend and i were upset and could not believe her reaction. i honestly love this place and always want to bring my christian friends here, i love sitting at the front window. take an hour break if you want, i don’t care im not your boss, but to literally lie, try and gaslight me, and imply that i am the problem for what? idk if she was having a bad day or what but that was so out of line and ridiculous. i literally have proof of the text messages that i have arrived at 12:59pm. obviously there are açaí bowl places everywhere but this place was always my favorite. i am so saddened by this interaction. i don’t think i will be...

I go often because I enjoy the bowls. I went in yesterday at 6pm and was told I could not dine in after 6. So I was there a full hour before closing and was kicked out. What kind of a policy is this? I have gone in many times at 6:30 even 6:45 pm and have never been kicked out. This is such bad business. If this truly is their policy, then I will never go in there again. What kind of business does this? I can go eat anywhere else a few minutes before closing and still get served. So why wouldn’t a business want to serve its customers an hour before they close. Hmmm I must agree wit a previous review... I don't like the fact that my acai and strawberries were FROZEN!!! If I want ice cream, I wouldve bought ice cream I went to an ice cream shop... Now the taste and presentation is great After I let it melt 3hrs later... I wanted to enjoy 3 hrs ago... the granola are A-1 tho... I never experience acai bowl frozen (not a fan)...
