First and last time I've been to this particular Wendy store. Stopped here to grab breakfast while I was in town and I figured I tried the store out since I've never been here before. It was breakfast time so I use my mobile app and ordered some items. Store was very dead in terms of vehicles in the drive-thru although I did see a few people in the dining area. After I got up to the intercom I was immediately told to wait, which I did for at least 3 minutes. When the employee finally got to me to ask me about my order I told him I had a mobile. She said come up to the window for pickup. Unfortunately soon as I got there, the employee at the window told me to go park a short distance ahead where there already was another vehicle waiting. She said they were cooking sausage. So I waited an additional 5 more minutes to get my food delivered to me. But I have to ask the employee to go back in and bring back a copy of the receipt for the order I just paid for cuz I needed it for my expense report. But what? She seemed polite about it and a couple minutes later she came back with the receipt. Also no complaints about the food quality. It was not totally terrible, but definitely not a very good experience. Seems like sausage would be something you'd have in ready supply considering they were still serving breakfast and also it was a mobile order that I placed 10 minutes before getting to the restaurant. The older female, Asian cashier who took my order in the drive thru started acting short of nasty after she realized I was getting a discount, for whatever reason. She also acted as if she had never seen this coupon before. By the time I got home(7min drive) and started eating I realize they had screwed up my whole order and the chili that I ordered was so cold it didn't even melt my cheese!! I called the restaurant to see what they could do to fix it because I could not come back out that evening due to the Rain. after I explained to the manager on duty at the time he was very argumentative but then finally decided to refund my whole meal by fixing it at a later time. Two days later I went back to the restaurant to get my meal replaced, there was a different manager on duty at the time and again she was very argumentative and made me feel like a liar because the previous manager on duty didn't leave a note of my order fix, like he said he would. After she went back to look in the office for about 10 minutes and calling the other manager's cell phone for another 10 minutes and confirming with him. Read moreI have always loved the spicy chicken sandwich and have never have a bad one until today. I mean, it's my go-to sandwich. I have been eating it for 40+ years! Today, I ordered it at the drive-thru and when I got to the window a stench from the old oil flowed out the window. When I started eating the fries they were really hot like they had just come out of a oil however they evidently took them out too early and they were limp and gross. The spicy chicken sandwich tasted like the smell from the window. I was so disappointed. That particular Wendy's definitely needs improvement. What was so bad is that I had just attended a funeral and it went long and my blood sugar was dropping very low. (Diabetic) I had already taken glucose tablets but needed to get something to eat immediately and I didn't have a choice but to eat some of it. My debit card chip wasn't working and I only had $10 cash. The meal was $9.73 and I didn't time (medically) to take it back in for a refund or go somewhere else to purchase anything else until I went to the bank. This was on California and Real Rd.
