Weekend Miami Food Crawl 🍣🍜🍝🏖 Recently during Miami Spice, Miami's mid-to-high-end restaurants have been offering special set menus at lower prices, usually featuring their signature dishes. This weekend, I tried Atlantikós on Miami's North Beach. The restaurant is located in the lower lobby of The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. I chose this place because it's been a while since I had Greek food, and the relatively light Greek cuisine suits Miami's hot weather. I was immediately drawn to the restaurant's white minimalist style from the online photos 🐵🐵 After dining here, I was pleasantly surprised. One reason was the generous portion sizes on the Miami Spice menu, and the other was that every dish was delicious!! 1. The bread with the sauce in pic 4 deserves special praise. It includes fresh cucumber strips, paired with freshly toasted bread, making it both fragrant and savory! 2. The starter in pic 5, tuna tartare, has green avocado wrapped around the tuna. Although it sounds like an odd combination 😂, the flavors balance perfectly, being neither too salty nor too oily. Plus, it looks great 😋😋 3. Pic 6 is another starter called Greek spread, with mini pita bread and their homemade sauces. I highly recommend the small eggplant sauce on the far right!! It's super tasty with a tangy kick! The pita bread is also thin, soft, and fragrant—love it! 4. The main course in pic 7, lamb kebab, also comes with pita bread but is paired with rice for a different flavor profile. 5. I also loved the dessert in pic 8! The Greek yogurt sorbet on the right is not thick or heavy but refreshing with just the right sweetness. The phyllo crust on the left is honey-pomelo flavored, and the crispy crust is very flavorful—highly recommended!! Anyway, if you go, just tell the server you want the Miami Spice menu, and you'll get all the dishes mentioned. Strongly recommend this place!! 😋😋😋 #Miami #NorthMiamiBeach #MiamiSpice #MyFoodDiary #Miami #GreekFlavor #Food

Last Miami Spice stop before end of month and a good way to end two months a fine dining and indulging in some of the best food in Miami. The restaurant is located at the St Regis which is just a stunning hotel and the entrance lobby is gorgeous. Can’t necessarily say the same for this restaurant because truth be told, it was a little underwhelming as far as the vibes is concerned. It might be too lit as far as the actual lighting is concerned or the mostly white aesthetic but it didn’t work for me, personally. Now as far as service and food, well that’s a different story. Yoel, the server, was most professional, helpful and knowledgeable but especially attentive at all times. So let’s discuss the food and drink options I opted for… ST REGIS GARDENS: wasn’t my favorite; very refreshing but lacking a good punch. APHRODITE: this one was way better, spicy, tasty and packing a good punch. That jalapeño and Tajín on the rim made the difference. GRILLED OCTOPUS: the kalamata olive sauce on the side is fire: octopus cooked to perfection with confit potatoes…spectacular BRANZINO A LA BRIAM: Branzino couldn’t have been cooked any better with golden potatoes on the side. Now the prawn pasta was an option and I looked at some photos on Yelp: portions were small, supposedly. When I tell you my friend showed up later on and her table ordered the pasta and I was mad at how delicious and generous the portion was but when does that happen? Fish was good but pasta was better, way better; I’d go for that instead. LEMON OLIVE CAKE: I’ve only tasted one other olive cake elsewhere and it was a little better. This one was on the drier side but not the worst. Once again, service was superb, food was really good but it wasn’t a memorable dining experience. They validate your valet parking ticket so you only pay $15 for parking plus tip so keep that in mind.

The restaurant decor is simple but tasteful, the staffs uniform is actually very nice but as the time unfolds, we realized that the restaurant is not fine dining at all, the view of the pool really speaks for itself, families eating in their bathing suits right on the other side of the window. Choosing a booth would have been more enjoyable. We tried the MIAMI Spice menu, the menu had nice choices; crispy octopus, lamb meatballs, branzino and Black Angus sirloin. The food was as expected, very good. We decided to try a Greek white wine, our waiter Obi was very helpful and suggested trying the wine and since neither of us knew anything about Greek wines, we accepted. The wine was very good but pricy, expect to pay hotel prices. I was a bit disappointed with the clientele, the St Regis used to be elegant, chic & sophisticated, I found the opposite on this visit, sadly. Overall, I think Its a lunch option.

My experience at Atlantikos for my birthday celebration was absolutely incredible! The atmosphere was enchantingly tranquil and elegant, with a very Mediterranean aesthetic. From the high ceilings, to beautiful blue crystal table tops, and brass accents, it felt as if I had just walked into Santorini. Furthermore, I would rate the cuisine Five stars, from presentation to taste! Simply scrumptious! The kind of fresh and savory plates that had us proclaiming “I know the Chef prepared this with LOVE in his heart!” Yummm! Every course complimented the next, from amazing appetizers to enthralling entrees, then divine desserts.

The staff, however, is truly what made my birthday experience the greatest! They each went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and celebrated upon hearing that it was my special day! The Manager, Dave, greeted me personally and then continued to surprise us with little extras that heightened the excitement and pleasure of the evening. He presented us with an exclusive Chef’s dish of grilled octopus, and it was nothing short of heavenly.

Our server, Constantine, was extremely knowledgeable and charming. He assisted us in making the perfect selections for every course, and the cuisine was above outstanding.

Throughout the night the staff continued to be attentive, and from start to finish my Birthday at Atlantikos was the best dining experience I’ve ever had! We’ll...

I usually don't write any reviews but, this restaurant deserves one. I went there on my birthday, back in August 2018, and I can't recall any other culinary experience as amazing as this. Not that I'm a culinary expert. However, everything from the service to the most minute details and flavors in every bite were... exquisite. Our server was from Morocco, I wish I could remember his name but, I'm just horrible at remembering names. His attention to detail and constant strive for making sure my family and I were always comfortable was beyond words. I will definitely come back, even if it may be a bit out of my regular budget; this restaurant deserves every dollar spent. I'd like to also thank the chef for the recommendations, the Lobster plate I had was succulent (again I can't remember the name), just know he is a master at his craft. Thanks to everyone at Atlantikos for creating such a great experience during my visit. And a special thanks to my sister Emily Quintero, for...
