Well first I must say that I have been wanting to dine at this restaurant for a while we always ate at Le Zoo right across from them, I always said we have to dine there cause it is always packed with people and buzz. So today we arrived before the crowed and first we had to clean our seats (bread crumbs) than the table was dirty (the hostess did ask if we wanted a table cloth) Now this is all in the first 10 minutes and just opened, now the fun begins I have a service dog (11lbs) sitting on my lap after we ordered the waitress came and said that the manager said the dog had to be on the floor I kindly explained the reason and purpose of my dog (SHIFU) and that was the end of that all OK than our food appetizer arrived and it was tasteless to me my wife thought it was ok (tried finding the item on line but it was not on there on line menu) it was a flatbread with goat cheese and shrimp, then my wife ordered the GAMBERI DADOLATI salad, she said it was just a salad that you can order anywhere (nothing special) I had the special Sea Bass witH a side of RISOTTO- the risotto was also nothing special ( my wife and I have had risotto around the world and I would say this was a good try but misses the mark ) The Sea bass was good ( but hard to make a bad sea bass since you can burn it and still be yummy) ok that's the food now the service when my wife salad arrived the food runner had his thumbs all over the rim of the plate and you could see the his prints on the rim so we asked for the manager and explained out to him the prints and he agreed. And as my food was served once again the food runner reached pass my wife's food and served my dish ( that is so improper ) the waitress in the beginning never refilled our glasses she must of heard our conversation and then she started to. I been in the restaurant industry all my life and am old (smile) I watched there staff very intently and witnessed error upon error. Wine service presented and poured incorrectly I can go on but my point is for the price point the service should be OUTSTANDING If they need a trainer for there staff call me Oh! I did speak to the manager on the way out and told him of all observations (...
Read moreServer named Daniel needs to be re-trained or re-positioned. We're local and regular @ this restaurant. We come there a few times a month throughout a year. Everyone is nice and good except Daniel. He served us 3 times, and we'll have to ask the host not to assign him at our table again. 1. He forgets items ordered. He comes back after 10 min asking 'what was it?'. Or he brings wrong dish and insists that's what he has in order from us. It's a dish we never eat and avoid to eat in our diet. So, who is wrong? We took the dish though because he insisted we ordered it.... We don't argue in life. 3. He asks how much tip we want to leave for him before he takes our credit card with the bill. No server does this rude manner to customers. He asks loudly 'how much tip do you wanna leave?', so nearby tables can hear how many % or $ we want to leave for him. We've never encountered this way of paying tip. Tip is supposed to be discreet appreciation, not announcing beforehand and to other diners around us. He gotta stop this. Customers will leave tip upon return of their credit card from him as they sign the bill. He should not ask before he takes the cc from customers. Restaurant manager, please teach him this manner. And please train him not to forget ordered items or makes mistakes in ordered items, which happens every single time with him. If he can't learn this way of serving, it's better for him and customers that he gets repositioned to a different section of the restaurant other than serving. This happened all 3 times he served us, therefore we would not like to have him at our table. The rest of the restaurant, servers, staff, are great. Thanks for making this 1 change, so the restaurant can stay as pleasant as before Daniel came into our...
