All the staff just did a really terrible job of making me feel like a welcome customer, and they really seemed like they were not genuinely happy to have my business. Angela wouldn't even answer my question about the menu until I told her if it was 'for here or to go' first, and then she gave me an attitude about giving me the sauce that I wanted to go with my order. Angela was unwilling, or unable to answer my questions about the menu other than just pointing at it on the wall, which I didn't consider to be very knowledgeable or very helpful at all. She yelled to the back to change my order for "to go", as if it were some inconvenience, but I don't see what difference it makes, since all the orders are served in the same styrofoam and cardboard containers, which you could see at the tables where other customers were seated. Angela was really rude the entire time talking to someone else over the intercom, and yawning with her mouth wide open while taking my order. They also did a terrible job of preparing my order, because I ordered the shrimp and crab fisherman basket, but they gave me crab and fried oysters. When they served my food, instead of handing it to me and saying "thanks" they just left it on the counter in front of my face as she was talking to someone else on the intercom. The staff are poorly trained to fulfill your orders, and even less so to attend the customers. They don't welcome your business, nor treat you like a valued customer, and they are not skilled at preparing unsophisticated, deep fried bar food. Read moreI ordered the two piece catfish , baked potatoe, and green beans. Also the country fish with green beans and cold slaw. When order came out the baked potatoe was cold in the center and green beans were salty and the hushpuppie were undercook. I asked for new potatoe , and husspuppies and refund for the cold slaw and Green beans initially the manager on staff stated he could not do anything. My refund was 1.13 which I fill was highway robbery. The order was 17.82 we left the food and only ate the meat. I will never go back to the I-635 and 12135 Elam Road in Belch Spring, TX.Captain D's horrible food, management, and they need to clean up. The ceiling tile full of water spots and the floor was nasty and sticky. The waitress walks around with the plastic wear in her apron not available to the customer you have to ask for a fork/knife.
