Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Baldwin

Papa John’s really lost me as a customer. This is the third time they’ve messed up my pizza order — three separate orders, three different days. Today was the worst. They finally send the corrected pizza, and when the driver gets to my house, she tells my 15-year-old son she can’t give him the food because he’s “too young” 😒

So I call up to ask what’s going on. The first guy says, “We’ve just been backed up, man.” Okay… then the manager gets on and says they have a new person. I tell them I’m over it, I’ll bring the pizza back and just want a refund, and they tell me they can’t refund me because the new pizzas are already on the way.

So I’m supposed to keep accepting messed up food and excuses because y’all can’t get it right three times in a row?? Yeah, no....

BUYER BEWARE We thought we’d give this location a shot to see how Papa John’s pizza tastes after nearly a decade. We ordered off of the app which was easy enough to use, but upon tracking the order we discovered it was transferred to DOOR DASH for delivery. At no point are you warned or advised that the local store is NOT handling your delivery. You also are unable to cancel your order once it’s placed. We are about 6 minutes (drive time) from this location. Our food was delivered 1 1/2 hours after we ordered. The pizza was cold, missing a topping and inedible. I won’t be ordering again anytime soon. Total failure and dismal...

I've ordered here a couple times now both online and through the phone service and it's been pretty straight forward and easy. There are usually pretty good pizza deals and the pizza is really good! I like how there's always a pepperoncini and garlic sauce in the box. The box also has a seal on it which is cool. Both times the pizza was hot and fresh. The staff are friendly.
