The Jimmy John's in Rockville/North Betesda closed a few years ago because of its poor location & horrific parking
Many of us cried when we lost Jimmy Johns because subs from nearly every competitor overcharge & never taste as good
To my amazement I discovered Frederick has a Jimmy Johns..again with not the best location, but it's staff are all friendly/helpful especially the G.M. Mary + today Danny, the co-manager who created today's perfect sub

This week through the app I got an offer to try the Sicilian Toasted Pizza Sandwich
I added lettuce /tomato+ onion & oregano+ pepper slices
I received one of the best Sandwiches I have ever eaten
Why Jimmy Johns is perfection is their bread..locally sourced produce & the meats are always fresh/never frozen
Adding the toast makes any sandwich, in my opinion THE BEST IN AMERICA...my toasted pizza sandwich, today was my favorite Jimmy John's sandwich ever
TODAY, Brittany & Steven suggested the sandwich which i got for $6.49 through an introductory price on the app
Any competitor would have charged double for an inferior tasting sandwich

Needed my Jimmy John's fix
I drove 12 miles to find Jimmy John's busy..but the staff blew through the cue Nathan suggested #11 - the country club. He suggested i toast it The sandwich blew away Jersey Mike & made Firehouse large sub look like a junior. I added extra tomatoes/ cucumbers & onions and pepper as & ate only half because it filled me up The vegetables I learned last time are locally sourced. No sub shop in America uses locally sourced vegetables except this Jimmy John's I am addicted to Jimmy johns especially this location Spread the word til Jimmy johns becomes king of subs in frederick maryland
P.S. for dessert Shane suggested either the fudge brownie or the triple chip cookie.

Read moreMust I say this is the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. The Frederick location specifically has gone downhill so much over the last few years. Most of time they are not wearing mask and never change their gloves. I have watched them repeatedly touch their phones, the cash register, money, then the subs. Not to mention they are beyond unprofessional and not “freaky fast” anymore. From managers to staff, it’s horrifying. I stopped going in due to the disappointment, and started ordering for delivery. That was a NIGHTMARE itself! After 45 mins of not receiving a call or any notice of my sub being delivered, I called in for an update (being I literally live 5 mins away). The delivery driver went on to tell me he sent me a text and just left my food on the ground. THE GROUND! How gross!? So I then asked to speak to a manager. Some lady gets on the phone (she refused to give me her name- stating “she does not have to provide me that information”). She then proceeds to tell me they do not have to call me if they send a text (which is new news to me because they always call when outside). I emphasized that it is unacceptable to lay food on the ground and allow it to sit, especially during a pandemic. She laughed and said “most people actually prefer that”. I told her I am not “most people” and don’t appreciate it. She then stated “you aren’t the only one in the world”. Let’s keep in mind this a MANAGER! I asked for corporate’s number, and the woman told me she’s not giving it to me and hung up on me. I called back and warned her I will be writing this review if I am not given the number, but she reminded me she could careless. My fiancé then chose to go down to the location himself as he found this to be very wild behavior and wanted to return the subs for a refund. Read moreI visited Jimmy John's today and was extremely disappointed with the service I received. Upon entering, I was greeted with a dismissive "What can I help you with?" from an employee named Kristen, who was sitting on the counter with an attitude. Her demeanor was unwelcoming and unprofessional.
Initially, I considered leaving because I am tired of spending my money at establishments that do not value their customers. However, my husband was walking in, so I decided to stay. He noticed Kristen giving me a disdainful look, seemingly because I was taking a moment to decide on my order. There were no other customers in the store at the time.
After ordering my sandwich, Kristen called out my number and placed the sandwich at the pick-up area. She then removed her gloves and returned to the counter without offering any napkins or further assistance. When I noticed there were no napkins in sight, I had to reach behind the counter to get them myself.
I left the store feeling deeply disrespected and uncomfortable. Initially, I believed Kristen's behavior was influenced by racial bias, as I am a Black woman and she is White. However, after reading online reviews, it appears this location has bad reviews in general smh customers, indicating a broader issue with the staff's manners and customer service.
