Baltimore's Best Wings — Restaurant in Baltimore

The food is fine but the service that myself and other customers received here is HORRIBLE! Today was my first time visit this establishment. I walked in and there was only one other person in the store. I stood behind that person and waited patiently to order. As I stepped forward and said hello, the lady behind the counter greeted me with, “what do you want”. No lie, I was shocked at her rude response, so I simply repeated my greeting again, hello, how are you. Without making eye contact, she shook her head and said something in a language that I didn’t not understand. I asked her if she was alright because at this point she was visibly agitated by me and I had no clue why. Even with this behavior I proceeded to place an order for honey old bay wings and fries which is a combo. She proceeded to tell me the price but before paying I asked what kind of drink did the combo come with. Again, I was met with hostility and blatant disrespect as she said, you don’t see it?! while pointing to the ice tea. Clearly confused by her attitude and clear disdain for me, I asked her if everything was ok and if I did something wrong. She repeatedly said something to me in another language and told me to pay and move to the side. SIDE NOTE: I would have cancelled my order and walked out but I had promised my son that I would have lunch with him and this was the closest place to his school and it was almost time for his lunch period, so I just sucked it up and tried my best to use kindness instead with this lady.

Another customer walked in and she greeted me and I greeted her. She said that this was her first time eating here and if there was anything I could recommend. I stated that it was my first time too and I told her what I chose on the menu. I sat back and observed the way the lady interacted with the new customer to compare her mood. The customer began to ask her questions about the menu items and what came with them, sure enough, the lady began to get aggravated and began calling the customer names in another language. I then stepped in and told the customer about my experience with the owner. I stated to the customer that I didn’t understand the hostility and maybe the owner was just having a bad day. The owner then got upset with me and told me to move away from the counter and step aside for other customers, but the store was completely empty other than myself and the customer I was speaking with. At that time, my food had come from the kitchen and the owner gave me my food. To be honest I was even hesitant give it to my son because I was afraid she may have went to the back and did something to it. She was really hostile and although I couldn’t understand what she was calling me, I know it wasn’t something nice or respectful. I’ve never felt so cheated in my life. I ordered a chicken cheese steak, with fried onions and extra mayo. however, The sub was so dry and it had no onions at all. It was bailey any mayo at all. It was very little chicken which didn’t look like real chicken. And than when I called to inform them of their mistake the lady stated I did put onions on the sub, and hung up in my ear. I called back and there wasn’t an answer. That’s not good business at all. I will not be supporting this location again. Lemon pepper and Hot garlic pepper wings with fries and a drink..10 piece wing combo and fries 11.99 not bad for price and quantity. Order did not take long to prepare and yes all of my wings were cooked to perfection along with the fries!! Tried a new flavor with the hot garlic pepper and the lemon pepper at the suggestion of the cashier (he said they were a hot seller so why not 🤷). A good move!! The lemon pepper wings were great...not too much and not too light on the seasons and the hot garlic pepper wings were also a compliment of heat and spice! I give a thumbs up for these flavors and I will be back to try...
