Consistently incompetent staff at this Chipotle. I have visited other Chipotle locations in Baltimore as well as in other states and none are as invariably disappointing as this one.
First, the preparation time for dishes both in person and for online orders is inexplicably slow. As in, there's no one in the store and the staff are hardly working, yet somehow a line of two or three people takes 10 minutes, or online orders come out thirty minutes late.
Second, the employees are hostile to customers. If you ask for special requests on your bowl, they give you sass. If you tell them you're looking for your online order that's now 15 minutes past, they accuse you of placing the order incorrectly online. If you tell them they gave you the wrong order (despite showing them an e-mail from Chipotle stating the correct order!) they're sure to let you know that's your fault, and in no way theirs. Unbelievable.
Finally, they displayed a sign on the door saying there was a recall on contaminated romaine lettuce, and that romaine lettuce was unavailable. They then proceeded to give me the (wrong) order, which included romaine lettuce! I can only conclude that the staff at this location either is too lazy to remove the incorrect sign on the door, or that they are knowingly serving customers contaminated lettuce.
Why two stars instead of one? Chipotle corporate did refund me. However it continues to boggle my mind that the staff at this particular Canton Can Company location is so disciplined at pioneering creative ways to fail. A team of elementary schoolers would probably perform better. Very disappointing, as I commute past...
Read moreThis is the worst Chipotle on Earth and it is not even close. Although, to be fair, Chipotle as a whole has gone severely downhill in the past few years while their prices continue to increase.
Most recently, they charged me $1.65 for a salad dressing that was barely filled to the bottom line of the plastic container it was served in. I'm talking like a few drops of salad dressing. How did they charge me for this? By sneaking it onto my bill and not telling me that the salad dressing I have been getting for free for the last 15 years, is suddenly, for the first time ever, $1.65 for a few drops. Please make it make sense!
The staff here is super combative, aggressive, and argumentative. There never seems to be anyone in charge nor does it seem like anyone is receiving any proper training.
The quality of the ingredients is severely lacking AND I do not remember a time in the last three years where they had every ingredient in stock. In fact, they usually have about 4-5 ingredients missing at any given time.
The protein portions are a joke. The chicken is minced into tiny bits and then they give you half a spoonful and call it a day.
This place is a joke. There is not one single redeeming quality. I will celebrate the day they go out of business which cannot come soon enough. If zero stars was an option, I would pick that as a one star is far...
Read moreI can’t overstate how dangerous my experience is for public health and customer service. I have talked with Chipotle customer service and their response was stunningly insufficient. We waited in line for 30+ mins, get to see the Contaminated counter - ingredients everywhere, brown guacamole brought out and stirred to barely hide its obvious lack of freshness. Employers treating each other rudely - not helping each other, not responding to each others requests, led to 30+ min wait. But most of all - the counter was cross contaminated - a mess, bags of to go food dropped on ground , ripped bag and all just set out for to go orders - AND the floor was being “cleaned” by dumping chemicals down literally flooding the floor WHILE FOOD IS STILL BEING PREPARED - potentially further contaminating food with chemicals. After we are barely acknowledged by staff - checked out - once we thought about the unsafe, harmful conditions - we tossed our food without eating it. I have followed up with customer service and their reply was a FREE DRINK. Refusing a refund. I do not believe Chipotle cares about their customers’ health, lawful public safety food practices or employee training. This is a danger to the public health and Chipotles responses have been dismissive and unsatisfactory. Clearly cares about money over everything. Stay clear for...
