This facility is serving you hot dogs on buns that have been sitting on filthy dish rags. I told them I will not be eating any of those buns, which was an issue. They also forgot several items, and when I came back inside to let them know they forgot, I was met with more problems. I had to then wait 15 minutes for hot dogs. I’d give 0 stars if I could - the food is not exceptional enough to have this kind of service. Choose a struggle Crazy Johns. Can’t be mid and dirty.

I’ve been a frequent customer here and today will be my last visit - I wanted something light and so I got toast and 2 eggs - according to the menu they would be $3.50 - I was charged $6.10 - when I asked they said they ring up a egg sandwich plus one egg - because of the container - Maybe have a $0.20 charge for a container or hey don’t charge me for the other toast since I’m not getting it with my egg? No one cared so I’ll find another place to frequent…

HORRIBLE DELIVERY FROM CRAZY JOHNS THIS MORNING. Tried to order some food before work and what’s this?! Raw bacon French Toast Platter?!! This is disgusting. It shows on google also the French toast platter comes with egg I got nothing but RAW BACON AND DRY FRENCH TOAST. Since when you don’t even supply syrup for the French toast?! This is ridiculous waste of money!! CRAZY JOHN DO BETTER!

I had a horrible experience here. I visited yesterday 6/1/24 and the experience was still bothering me so I knew I had to make a review. The staff must have changed because a few years ago, it wasn’t like this. Cashier (darker skin Indian man: sorry if ethnicity is wrong) makes you feel stupid instead of explaining what the sub is if you have the wrong idea. Kept saying I ordered a cheeseburger instead of explaining its burger patties on sub roll and then looked at me like I was legitimately stupid. My friend and I get done ordering and she goes to the White Passing Latino Male (WPLM-he will come up again) with bumps all over his face to ask for the bathroom key. WPLM asks if she ordered and she said yes. Instead of him asking to see the ticket (which I have in my hand) he tells her to go to the cashier. Cashier then tells her to go back to WPLM. So she goes back to him and he then has the nerve to tell her that she has to order. So she yells to me to show him the ticket. I then later find out that WPLM told her there’s no reason to get loud and to calm down before he finally handed over the key…as if he was trying to make it seem like she was yelling at him. Furthermore, he was the one causing the issue in the first place. Anyways, she goes to the bathroom and that’s when I start feeling/seeing eyes on me. WPLM keeps looking at me, both cooks wearing the Wild Ones snapbacks keep looking at me in between tasks, and the cashier kept looking at me. I’m so grateful that we can see them making the food otherwise I would’ve asked for a refund and left without the food. Then WPLM walks over to the cashier and stays there for about a minute or two. He yells, very loudly, One Ticket. Then he starts going back to his area at the end of the counter and says something here he has to say the phrase one ticket. Again One Ticket is very loud. All of a sudden, security in the building sprints into action and starts to fast ,but not too fast, walk towards the bathroom. At that same time my friend came from the bathroom so the security guard had to save face and went to stand near where the lottery portion is. My friend wanted to eat there so against my better judgment we sat and ate our food. It was so hot back there that you don’t have to worry about sitting more than the 15-30 min time limit. The food was good, not as great as it used to be. I have never felt more uncomfortable as a black woman in an establishment more than I did here and I currently live in an area where I’m frequently the only or one of few black people. I understand that some stuff happens in Baltimore, especially near the strip clubs at times. But that’s the place you chose and you shouldn’t make that every persons problem that comes in. The staff needs major...

Crazy John’s – Review

📍 Location: 410 E Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21202, USA. [1]

✅ What Works Well Many patrons appreciate the friendly staff and good service: “staff is very friendly and sandwiches are delicious!” [1] The menu has strong comfort‑food options, such as cheesesteaks and subs—one reviewer said: “The food was great … we got cheesesteaks and an Italian sub.” [2] It holds a solid rating (4.0 stars with ~700 reviews) suggesting consistent overall satisfaction. [1]

⚠ Areas for Improvement Some visitors report inconsistent food quality: for example, one review mentioned “food was old and cold … sandwich was missing condiments and was over‑cooked.” [3] It’s a casual spot, so if you’re seeking upscale ambiance or fine‑dining service, it may not deliver that. Because it’s in a central urban area, parking and waiting times during busy periods could be more challenging.

🎯 Verdict Crazy John’s is a dependable, casual dining spot in Baltimore for classic American sandwiches and comfort eats. If you’re in the mood for a relaxed, no‑fuss meal with friendly service, this place delivers. Expect comfort food, decent value, and a simple atmosphere—not luxury or...

My downtown hotel had no restaurant and I needed a late night quick bite. This place was close, open and rated 4.1 so I placed an online order. To be on the “safe side” I ordered a BLT in case the Greek Wrap was a poor choice. I’ll skip the multiple tells witnessed while I waited. Back at the hotel I found the wrap was missing so I walked back. The lady at the register owned up to missing the wrap, the first item on the ticket, but went off when I asked for a receipt copy. “That’s between (me) and the head office not (her)”. Then I made the mistake of asking her for a receipt copy. Wrap in hand, I suggested she might be happier in another line of work. Back at my room I found my BLT to be burnt, on dried out hard toast; I think you get the picture. Maybe going at 9:30 pm was the mistake. I will say the chicken and veggies in the “Greek” Wrap were fairly good, but how hard is it to make a decent BLT? Anyone giving this place more than 1.5 stars...
