I scheduled an appointment for wednesday of this week and there was a snow storm that affected the area. I took off work specifically for this appointment and attempted to reach this company via text and via phone to discuss if the appointment time was still going to take place. No response. The appointment was scheduled between 11AM-12PM, received a text message after my scheduled appointment time notifying me that the appointment was cancelled due to the weather. Annoyed but understood that this could not be helped and rescheduled, the female operator was very pleasant and scheduled me for friday.
On Friday, mind you all of the roads have been cleared (major highways) and received multiple text confirmations that the appointment was still going to take place. The time was the same (11AM-12PM). I received notification a few minutes after 11AM from the driver that she was "stuck" but would be there. Ok, no problem. Forty five minutes go by... no response. I send a text message asking for an ETA, no response. Called the mobile pet grooming number and left a message at 12PM after receiving no notification from the driver. Then received a call at 12:30PM letting me know that there were ambulance trucks blocking the entrance to my apartment complex so the driver could not get through and the appointment would be cancelled. Seeing as how that was completely different story from what the driver stated, I was highly agitated. In addition, unbeknownst to the male operator (who was extremely rude) I was outside and there were NO trucks blocking the multiple entrances into the community. He said that he would send a picture of the trucks blocking the entrance (never received). I asked if she was in the area and could not get through because of the trucks (which didn't exist) that I would meet her and walk to her to bring her my dog as I needed to get him groomed. He said he would ask but I would need to reschedule. I stated since this is the second time I've had to reschedule, what would guarantee you would arrive the next time? He stated what is the guarantee you will not have fire trucks blocking your entrance? The rudest response I have ever received from any company. To try to make your poor response time and lack of follow through my fault is unacceptable.
I will never use this business again and will never recommend them to anyone. Please stay away, I've only used them for convenience as they can come to you but there are plenty of other mobile groomers in the area who will actually care about your business rather than make up excuses as to why they can't do their job and it's...
Read moreI had used this service once prior with no issues, it was with the same groomer too, however this experience couldn’t have been different. My dogs first groom with this company took well over 2.5 hours, his second was finished within an hour and that should have been my first inkling something was wrong.
My dog had some matting around his collar, he is a 20lb cockapoo, and I was charged $140 and gave a $30 tip. I initially did not notice anything wrong with my dog other than him shivering which I thought might be due to him being cold. Once I brought him home, I noticed he had several fleas, something he has never had before, and immediately placed him in a tub of water in an attempt to drown them. While drying him off I noticed all the wounds he received during his grooming. His shivering was not due to him being cold rather him being in pain. I contacted the groomer immediately and was told to put neosporin on his wounds (neosporin is toxic to dogs if ingested which it would have been since he was licking his wounds).
I took him to his vet where he was prescribed pain medication, a safe antibacterial cream, and a cone. I found out during this visit that several of his nails were clipped too short which were causing him to limp.
I have reached out over 4 times in an attempt to speak to the owner to no avail. Each time I’ve been told that the owner will follow up with me but that has not been the case. I tried to dispute the payment but because it was sent via Zelle I was unsuccessful. I requested a refund for the service and of course my request was not responded to. $170 for a groom that left my dog maimed in pain., $150 in vet bills, and a company that can’t even be bothered to return texts/calls. DO NOT USE...
