*Update 2025: This Artscape was AIIGHT.šŸ˜šŸ˜’ Eh, Felt Sum Kinda Way about it not being in Mt Vernon: Please move Artscape BACK to where it was. If it aint Broke, please Don't TRY to Fix it. This yr was OK but did not have the same Vibe/Feel as yrs past. Did not buy anything this year. Did find my fav Thai food stand. Some nice indoor Art Spaces & Good Stage Stuff & DJ/Music. Wind up leaving earlier than usual. Also, seemed like a couple things from previous yrs were missing. 1 thing: Was not Hades Hot like always.šŸ”„šŸ„¹šŸ„µšŸŒ”Overall still Cool āœŒļøšŸ‘ but lacked the Magical Awesomeness of previous Artscapes.šŸ˜’šŸ˜ Artscape 2023-25: Unfortunately, we seemed to have had even more Bad Luck in the form of Heavy Rain, Lightening, & Flash Flooding for Artscape 2024. 2023 yeah Sat was rough as far as storms but this Artscape Chaka Khan was cancelled on Fri then Sat more bad weather and Sheila E's performance was cancelled too. It felt like we just couldn't catch a break as far as the heavy rain for almost the entire weekend. Myself and a friend arrived Sat 5:30 pm only to be told Artscape was cancelled. But alas, Sunday was the Charm!! There was a little drizzle, and it was hot & humid like always for ARTSCAPE, but Sunday was really nice.āœŒļøšŸ™‚ MTA COOLING BUS & WATER BEING GIVEN OUT. Lot of good BUSSIN' food choices from Trucks to Stands. Various places all over to chill hang out & just sit from the curb to benches + small tables in the surrounding areas. Beautiful seeing Beautiful People of all races, ages, and walks of Life! Caught Navasha Daya, The Original Wailers, and a cover band. Bought some GR8! Art, jewelry, clothing, etc. from the AWESOME Artists/Vendors. Something for EVERYONE. Listened to some Spoken Word and there was an AMAZING guy breakdancing he was Fabulous!!! A Good Crowd. There was also a beautiful Vibe despite the cancellations and bad weather from Fri & Sat. I GOTTA give Artscape FIVE Stars because although it ain't perfect, and there's been some bad luck & hiccups past few years but there is NO Other *FREE* ARTS Festival like this where BALTIMORE Maryland and beyond Shows UP & Shows Out LIKE THIS: Regardless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thnxs!ā¤ļø

Explore Baltimore - Artscape Each year Artscape is made possible through a combination of city allocations, private sponsorships, grant funding, and in-kind support. We are actively securing corporate and philanthropic partners who share our vision for an elevated, artist-first festival experience. If you are interested in being a part of this amazing festival consider submitting a sponsorship inquiry form today. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our incredible 2024 sponsors! Artscape wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support. We deeply value each and every one of you, and we are immensely grateful for your role in bringing this vibrant event to life for Baltimore and beyond. Your contributions have been the driving force behind Artscape’s success! A huge shoutout to everyone who played a part in making Artscape a reality, from the dedicated volunteers to the Baltimore City services. Your commitment is essential to the success of Artscape. Discover more about the amazing work of Artscape producers and The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts at promotionandarts.org. We can’t wait to welcome you to Artscape 2025! ARTSCAPE 2025: BOLD. TRANSFORMATIVE. UNAPOLOGETICALLY BALTIMORE. Artscape is more than a festival—it’s a force. A dynamic collision of art, culture, and community impact, transforming Baltimore into a living, breathing canvas of creativity. For over 40 years, Artscape has been a catalyst for artistic expression, economic impact, and cultural transformation. Now, as part of Mayor Scott’s Downtown Rise Initiative, Artscape is moving into the heart of Downtown Baltimore, reimagining how a weekend festival can fuel long-term impact through creative placemaking and sustainable community investment. In 2023, we redefined the festival model—Artscape became a tool for city transformation, turning underutilized spaces into vibrant hubs of artistic energy. In 2025, we go even further, delivering immersive public art, high-impact installations, and curated experiences that elevate and celebrate Baltimore’s creative industry like never before.

Despite the impending storm artscape was really good this year definitely in the right direction. I like the shift of it in the fall because with climate change summers are sooo hot maybe it should have been more in early september than late September but I’m sure they can work out the logistics next year. The drone show was amazing! It seems that because of the storm some vendors dropped out last minute but it was a lot more vendors than food this year which is good because previous few years artscape was being more food than art. Despite the headliner performers cancelling we managed to get better acts that have wider appeal. I really did enjoy it and loved to see my city come out be peaceful enjoy art and music the stage on maryland ave was so perfectly placed and dope acts i loved it. The light sculptures in the garage was fire and so was the space they made over on charles street by the gas station. I do wish overall it was more festival set design but again a lot might have been scaled back because of the storm. It was nice to see spaces open on north ave that werent usually opened really shows u the potential of the places and spaces that this city has. Honestly people that complained about parking probably are from the county and just dont know they way around i parked over by the design school and walked over. I just know next year will be even better

Looks like I won’t be going this year either, they keep messing it up! They keep playing musical months and now musical locations with it. Why is it being held in May and not in July as normal? Last year someone had the bright idea to have it in September in the beginning of hurricane season so yeah, it got rained out. Yes July can be hot as it always is every summer since the beginning of time so why is that so surprising? And why is the location changed to a smaller area especially in an area where traffic is not the greatest on a normal day(I should know, I work in the area😔) and it’s not the arts district. While they prep for this, they already single handedly ruined parking in the area for those who have to work down here, total disaster. Have to circle for hours looking parking because they have restricted it. Give zero notice of the changes. There is nothing artsy about the area at all. There’s nothing around in general downtown, just city hall, other decrepit city buildings, bad traffic and out of sync or blinking traffic lights. Now from what I hear it supposed to be a heavy metal concert somewhere down there on the same weekend. Proven once again someone don’t know how to reconcile with a calendar of events to check for potential conflicting events. Same as September of last year, UB and MICA just went back in session and there was a pre season football game going on the same weekend. Since the years after the Covid shut down, it gets more disorganized, running it straight into the ground. Just like last year, somebody is not good at planning and looking...
