We stayed at this hotel in order to visit the arena nearby for a concert. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the ADA room we booked was not available because someone booked the same room the day before we did. However, the reservation sat for almost a week and no one from the hotel called to inform us that the room was not available AND it was also showing as a room we could still book on IHG that night. They Did not offer us initially another handicap accessible room that could fit all three persons inside and tried to suggest that my son be in one room while one of his two needed caretakers sleep in another room. This room was reserved because my adult nonverbal disabled son needs to have two caretakers with him at all times due to his medical needs. I explained to the staff person that giving us two separate rooms that are not connected is not an acceptable solution due to safety reasons. He then rolled his eyes at me and told me that he’s trying to give me a solution that will make me satisfied or happy. I explained to him that this isn’t an issue of me being happy, but that my son’s disability needs are met and the hotel not informing me of this error until I showed up. I explained to him had not shown up the hotel, I likely would’ve charged us for a room that they did not actually have to offer us so he needs to understand that what he is offering does not meet the needs for my child who is clearly visibly disabled. He then called another guest and asked them if they could switch the room that they had by verifying if they needed a handicap accessible room. Once we arrived to the room, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were old dirty towels left by the previous guest, and there was also old molded food that was left by the previous guest , I took photos of these because they were visible and should have been caught when someone check the room. The floor was also dirty, which left the bottoms of my feet caked with dirt so we elected to just keep our shoes on while in the room after noticing how filthy the floor was. Later that evening we went to get extra towels because the showerhead was immobile and pointed in a direction that made the floor wet resulting in the bathroom flooding and becoming a tripping or fall hazard. Initially I sent my sons nurse down to get the towels and they refused to give him more than two towels telling him that housekeeping usually doesn’t replace towels until the next day. Then I went downstairs and explained that the reason why we were asking for more towels is because after taking a shower, the water ran throughout the bathroom and instead of asking the hotel to send maintenance or someone to clean in the middle of the night we were perfectly OK with mopping up the water ourselves, but needed to have sufficient towels in order to clean the floor as well as clean our bodies . The same gentleman who checked us in and started to become elevated began raising his voice and I explained to him that he needed to bring his tone down to a three because I am not yelling and I am calm. however, I am not happy that I had to beg and plead with hotel staff for extra towels to clean up the floor due to the room not having properly working equipment due to the old shower-head and other apparatus in the bathroom needing either repair or replacement. At that point my focus was just getting a couple hours of rest so that we could take our drive back home since the drive is about an hour and a half. we left early in the morning, choosing to limit our interaction with staff at that point because I felt at that point that they were not going to be empathetic or understanding and instead were going to look to argue or debate with me over basic disability needs, I would not recommend this to anyone with disability because of the hotel trying to be accommodating or understanding the staff feels that arguing and debating with you over basic human rights is the correct way to handle things. I hope and pray nonr of the staff we encountered with experiences life as a person with the disability, especially considering the fact that had they met my son and I five years ago he would not have been in a wheelchair and would not have had a need for an ADA room. Anyone can be disabled at any point of life… do not take your mobility...

Read more1 ||I arrived onsite on Friday the 23rd @ or around 6pm. The first thing I noticed about this location is the location. The hotel location, ( in my opinion) was not in a ideal location. So when I arrived , I was met with a wonderful young man, who was full of energy and enthusiasm. He was very professional. While we were in the mist of checking in, a customer was displaying his opinion on this particular property. The customer stated that his room that he checked into was extremely dirty and that there was no hot water at all in his room. So, as I was hearing this man vent about the hotel, I started to second guess my stay at that location. We decide to move forward in checking into our room. The young front agent informed us that our hotel room that we originally booked was no longer available but he stated that he will relocate us in another room similar but a step below the one that was booked. The agent stated that he was going to wave the security deposit due to our inconvenience. So he gave us a room on the 11th floor. While being in the room, we noticed the room looked half cleaned and we only had one set of towels to use. So while getting ready to enjoy our anniversary weekend celebration, I turned on the shower, I noticed the water was not getting warm nor hot. So I waited for at least 15 to 20 minutes to see if it would change and it did not. So I had no choice but to take a cold shower. My wife was very unhappy about that. After we both took a cold shower, we headed out for dinner. After a night out in the town. We came back to the hotel to shower up and got to bed. The water was now feeezing cold. I called down to the front desk to see why the shower water was cold and a gentleman informed me that the hot water tank next door to the hotel had some issues on Friday morning and there was a mechanic working on it as we speak. Low and behold there was no mechanic warming and the water was freezing cold for the entire stay of our trip. So add insult to injury, our room door would not lock. We tried and tried to lock the door while we step out to enjoy the evening and our room door would not lock at all. So we contact the front desk about it and he moves us to another room on the 9th floor that was even more messy and dirty then the first room. At this point , we were so feed up and tired , we just decide to deal with it and just check out on Sunday. Our whole anniversary weekend was ruined by our experience staying at this hotel. I truly was very disappointed in the cleanliness of that hotel ans we couldn’t even sleep at night because of the outside patrons screaming, arguing and also hearing gun shots early in the morning. This hotel will not be recommended and I will be placing this review on all travel sites. If I knew that this property was this dirty and no hot water, I would have canceled my reservation and booked another property. The bad thing about it is , nobody informed us about no hot water at the property nor having limited staff cleaning the hotel. We weren’t given the opportunity to make a choice about staying or booking at another property near by due to the issues that were present...
