Staying in town overnight, we saw Kechy Pizza had recently opened. It was within walking distance of the Harbor, and the menu looked really good. We're really glad we gave it a try.
The interior is spacious with clean lines and calming decor and street views in every direction from its corner vantage. The servers are friendly and attentive, but the real star is the food.
The Balsamic Bliss Brussels are petite and perfectly charred then tossed in a perfect balsamic reduction to retain its full flavor. There's plenty in the mini "cookie sheet" for four people, and you'll want to finish off all the crispy bits.
The pizzas must be from a wood-fired oven, and their New York-style crusts have a thin, crisp surface with a slightly chewy texture and just enough flavor to stand on its own without detracting from the rest of the pie.
The smoky flavor of the Lost Pie is pronounced enough that you know there's more to it than wood fire, and the Spartan Pizza with its spinach, artichokes, carmelized onions, and two complementary cheeses is a heavenly change from run-of-the-mill. It leaves you believing you couldn't go wrong with anything on their menu.
They're still in their "soft open", but you wouldn't know it from the quality of the food and service nor the customers obviously enjoying...
Read moreKechy Pizza really impressed me. The steak sandwich was excellent—juicy, flavorful, and made with care. The spinach-feta triangles were the standout: light, crisp, and perfectly balanced between flaky pastry and savory filling. The wings didn’t quite hit the same level—more on the average side—but still enjoyable enough.
The service is what truly sets Kechy apart. Ishu was incredibly friendly, always wearing a happy face that instantly made me feel at home. And Jake deserves a big shoutout for crafting an amazing Old Fashioned—smooth, balanced, and expertly done. Between the kindness of the staff and the quality of the food, it’s clear this place holds itself to high standards.
Overall, Kechy combines great dishes, standout cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be back—especially for those spinach-feta triangles and another one of Jake’s Old Fashioneds.
Finally made it back to this spot — and once again, had the best Long Island Iced Tea in Maryland, right here in Baltimore! 🍹🔥 Perfect balance, super smooth, none of that “just spirits with a splash of Coke” stuff you get everywhere else. If you’re into Long Islands that actually taste good, you’ve gotta try this one — Ishu...
Read moreOne of my absolute favorite places to eat. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The service here is always top-notch — the staff is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel like you’re part of the family.
What really sets this restaurant apart, though, is the presence of the owners. They’re not just names behind the scenes — they’re there, walking around, checking in with guests, and making sure everyone is happy and enjoying their meal. It’s rare these days to see that kind of hands-on care and attention, and it speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their customers and the quality of the experience they’re offering.
The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistent. You can tell there’s pride in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Whether you’re coming in for a casual meal or celebrating something special, this place never disappoints.
Highly recommend to anyone who values great food, exceptional service, and a welcoming, community-oriented vibe. Can’t wait to come back —...
