I’m in love with one thing in life, good food! While I was in Baltimore for the weekend, I had the cravings for some Haitian food and I was pleasantly surprise to find Island Gourmet. I ordered the griot with fried plantain and my wife ordered the oxtail Caribbean-style Cheesecake (we ordered this because we’ve never seen this on a menu before). I ordered the oxtail cheesesteak, potatoe salad, and honey fried chicken, that cost 45 dollars, a little steep for the little bit that I got. The cheesesteak had SO much cheese and not enough oxtails, the sub was very small, the potatoe salad was ok and the wings were mid, but all in all not worth $45. The lady was friendly and nice.
