Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Baltimore

I had the worst experience at this Jersey Mike’s. I went Sunday, April 28th. I ordered a regular #7 that comes with 3 tomatoes. The girl gave me 1 nice size sliced tomato and the 2 slices were the end pieces of a tomato and they were very smalll…I asked the worker if she can give me a different slice due to the last slice being extremely small. She gave me a different slice which was the exact same size as the other one…So I said “Miss can u give me a bigger piece. She then says”OK(with attitude)you did not have to get loud”. At that point I was annoyed because no where at any time did I get loud…I may have showed annoyance but loud I was not. So because of the attitude she continued to give me. I let her know the difference between speaking in normal voice and speaking loudly. The worker next to her moved her over so she could make my sandwich, at that time a gay guy with dread locks came from the back hollering at me going off on me not knowing what happened…the argument escalated and momentarily the manager came from the back and told me to leave the store and AGAIN not knowing what happened. The gay guy that works there is a hot mess and if he’s not contained there will definitely be a situation in that store one day. Men like him like to argue with women( cause he definitely wouldn’t have came off at a man like that). He came from behind the counter acting like he wanted something to drink from the machine just to antagonize me. It makes no sense how that man was acting towards me when he had nothing to do with or even knew what happened. The fact that I patronize the store at least once a week is saddening. The guy had stated that the girl that was making my sandwich was under 18 like that meant something. Because her age didn’t mean anything when she was disrespecting me. I’m a 53 year woman who deserved to be treated better than I was. To say all this is to say that this store is the WORST Jersey Mike’s in the city. It’s ghetto and so are the people. I am super disappointed in the service I received today I came in around 1:56pm and there wasn’t any customers I ordered a mini #8 I didn’t eat my sandwich right away but went straight home to eat because I have a newborn baby with me I live 5 minutes away from the store when I got home and opened my sandwich the bread was so hard I couldn’t bite into it. I called the store to asked for the manager and the first time I was told she was in the bathroom and I needed to call back, when I called back and she got on the phone I explained to her that my bread was hard she told me that there bread especially the mini are made fresh but if I can come back she will remake it I told her I couldn’t come right back out because I have a newborn could she just take my name and I get a replacement another time she asked when would I be able to come back I again explained to her that I was unsure and it probably won’t be today she then puts me on hold for a few minutes and comes and saying she checked the bread and it’s all soft so now I’m lying wow, I didn’t want my money back until that was done because all I asked was can I come another time I can’t keep bringing my baby outside. I am a regular customer to this location and usually have a good experience but today was horrible and I probably will never come back to this...

I ordered online a Big Kahuna with LTM, extra cheese, no jalapenos on rosemary garlic bread. I picked my food up and took it home. I got settled and sat down ready to eat my food and enjoy my sub. I bit into the sub and it was filled with jalapenos (that I am severely allergic too). It was on a regular roll with no cheese at all. I was so mad because my sandwich was ruined. The next day I took it back (30 minutes away) and I explained the situation to the manager. She had another sub made for me. I get home and sat down to enjoy my sandwich and yet again it was filled with jalapenos. I threw it in the trash. I just didn't feel like driving all the way back. I was adamant that I was allergic to the peppers and they went and put them on my sandwich again. I also watched the cashier touch different surfaces , go in and out of the beverage cooler with the same rubber gloves on that she made sandwiches with. She never changed her gloves. She answered the phone, rang up orders with same gloves she prepared the sandwiches with. That's so disgusting. She did it so effortlessly without any care in the world. If she is going to be doing all of that she should not be touching food. For the reasons forementioned I will no longer be eating from Jersey Mikes...
