I refuse to rate this McDonald's but had to put a star just to write this! Not only for the ridiculous service but how I was talked to & treated by the employee that took my order rude & very aggressive. The Worst part of this experience was turning to the MANAGER TANISHA (I belive she said her name was no one wore name tags but her I wasn't able to see clearly) who stood beside her threw this whole ordeal. I asked her to ask her employee to speak a little nicer her response was (word for word) "Nah it's the way u said it to her". For some reason she not only condoned this employee's behavior but also felt it was ok for her employee to ask "What drinks" very rude & pushy (which I ordered 3 meals 1 for myself 2 for my young children 17 months & 5yrs old). I asked what drinks are available for children she responded "We don't, just what u see?". After a very nice employee brought me a Apple Juice my #109 was called... tending to my children I didn't hear the # called but heard "Yo she really pays no attention!" seeing the other employee's & customer's staring at me I realized & came to the register to collect my food. There was 1 small bag w/1 meal. I very nicely & calmly said "Excuse me hun I still have more to this order..." I was cut off w/the response/snap back "YEA I KNOW CUZ IT AINT DONE YET...DAMN!! (SIGH)". So that's when I turned to the MANAGER & asked could you please ask her to speak to me a little nicer. Thinking her witnessing all the hostility coming from her employee & me completely confused on why she was so upset from the moment me, my 2 children, my cousin & her 2 small children came in. Instead of an apology or even simple understanding of how wrong & disrespectful this girl was to me she actually BLAMED ME as I stated earlier w/the response "Nah its the way u said it to her". So at the end of this even tho I was boiling inside I kept the thought more HONEY more BEES... My order was $17 therefore I gave her a 100 dollar bill w/a nice smile they both looked at me enraged having to go to the back to get my change which held them up another 10mins as the line grew. I apologized to the customers behind me sat & ate w/my family & left. While I was there I wrote all this out under "contact us" on the website that came up when I Googled this McDonald's. Really hope something is done about this or at least acknowledged it was very unfair to me & my children and honestly pretty shocking to see this was ok in their place of business according to their manager at that. Read moreFirst off, I did not rate the food because it's McDonalds, the food is basically the same anywhere. However, the service at this location is horrific; absolutely horrific. I was under the assumption that one of the benefits of using the mobile app was to get your food faster without the hassle of the drive-thru or waiting in line. I ordered food on Saturday for my son, via the mobile app; Pulling up, we noticed that the drive thru was full to compacity (no more cars could get in the line) which is probably normal for a Saturday night. My son went in to get his food while i sat in the car. After sitting for about ten minutes and noticing that all the cars in the once packed drive thru were gone but my son had not come out, I went in; the store was packed with people waiting for orders(door dash/mobile app). After going in, it was another 5 minutes of waiting before my son got his food. So basically, I ordered my food ahead of time via the app to end up waiting between 15 and 20 minutes for my food. Also, this is one of the smaller McDonalds, it almost looks like a Kiosk so being "packed" is not good in there. I have been in this McDonalds more than once and they are consistently slow; they also have quiet a few young people there and a manager who seems to act more like a coworker than managment; that may be the reason for them being one of the slowest McDonalds in my area....it seems to be more fun and games instead of...
Read moreQuite possibly one of the worst McDonald's in the city. The employees hate their jobs and it shows tenfold. The place is always a mess and disorganized. No matter the time of day, you can guarantee that if you go through the drive-thru, you'll have to guess what you want because they will not have switched the menu for the time of day. That's okay. Annoying, but whatever. Everyone knows what McDonald's has on the menu for the most part. You will almost always be asked to pull over somewhere and wait anywhere from 10-15 minutes for your order. Worst part about that is that there are sometimes other people waiting too and nowhere to park. It's always dirty inside and sometimes the soda tastes a bit moldy. Be warned, this place is gross. I've lived in the neighborhood a long, long time and I've seen this place turn out the employees over the years in rapid succession and it never gets any better. There are many rumors that the girls in the drive-thru have taken pictures of customer's debit/credit cards and skim your change, $1 at a time, and keep it for themselves. It hasn't happened to me, but the Hampden Neighborhood forums on Facebook and Nextdoor are always complaining about someone's information getting stolen from that place. Just don't do it.
