Atmosphere: Clean, well lit kosher bakery.Cakes neatly displayed with some very impressive design examples placed up higher. There were basic refrigerated cakes to grab quickly or fresh cakes and confectioneries to grab at room temp.

Food: They have an array of danishes, cakes and cookies in many flavors and designs. I had lemon and peach danishes. The danishes were tender, moist and flavorful. My kids really liked the vanilla cupcakes. I did not taste them but they had a good crumb and the buttercream held up well despite being roughed up during the drive. I also had the Linzer cookies (with raspberry filling). They were tasty. The cookie itself was light, crisp and sweet and the raspberry filling was done perfectly. though, it was just a tad too sweet. I think the powder sugar was what put them over the top. The Challah is beautiful. But I have yet to taste it. The rainbow cake was not edible for me. The cake itself was pretty and put together prefectly but the flavors of the different parts of the cake did not meld together well and whatever the cake layers were flavored with was overwhelming. (chocolate/fudge frosting, strawberry filling and the cake was flavored with some sort of nut flavoring..maybe almond) I subtracted half a star for the rainbow cake.

Customer service: I dealt with two employees. One was an older guy, who was generally impatient. He fussed about/at others before I got to him. And when I began to place my order, I asked him for some items and he responded with " okay" but walked away and never got them for me. The next guy who came over and filled my order was well mannered and much more pleasant. Oh and the prices were excellent except the rainbow cake. The service is absolutely terrible. I expect bad kosher food, and this place meets those standards but it doesn’t seem as though they have any room to compromise on service, yet they choose to do so.

I tried to place an order for mini cupcakes—they can’t accommodate a next day pick up. First red flag. This after I waited on hold for 30 mins. While I was on hold, I called from my husband’s phone and they took his call right away but when I was put on hold to check if next day pick up was available, the woman never returned. While I feel for the woman who is the only one in the store (second red flag), it’s clear that there is no logical queue or line for receiving the orders. The place is chaos.
